I'm home! I'm feeling good about getting back to a daily routine. My scale thinks I am maintaining. My body says I am losing weight again. Several friends are now noticing. Yay! Their comments help motivate me to keep at it.

@Living360 A fresh start every morning works! One day at a time.
@CaptainBoing "Crazy busy" is a good thing. Better than the blah I was feeling a few days ago.
@2020pinktogo I've never taken to salt water taffy. Everything else, yes. Taffy no.
@JMarcella57 You are getting closer to your goal every week! Way to go!

Yesterday I took a rest day as I am being attacked by allergies and am having a hard time breathing. My scale isn't budging but one of these days it will surprise me I'm sure. So I need to get dressed as I'm going to go to the park and walk with my mom. I cancelled out on her yesterday and napped so I could make my shift at work. While at work my sister texted me to call her when I got home. I guess I am the only person capable of finding a Hawaiian shirt for my nephew. LOL 15 min on line under the influence of every allergy medicine known to man I emailed them a bunch of options my first choice was his favorite. My sister is like your just so good at this you know the boys taste too. OH yeah just butter me up some more. LOL

So I really need to grocery shop I have been trying to use up stuff in the house for the last month and now it's really pathetic. So That's on the to do list for today as well.

    Have a great day everyone!!!

I did some fencing tonight! It was only sword drills because it was immediately after my bio session and my knee wasn't going to accept lunges after my biokinetesist. It was fun to see the old crowd again and get to play with my sword.

Nothing new or exciting happening at the moment. I should be putting more effort into being active, but I am mostly just running errands and doing chores around the house. I am doing well on eating more vegetables. I was never a vegetable lover so this is great for me. I have a graduation and a trip planned for June. I should make some six weeks goals.

When I bought new shorts to wear for this week's Orlando, Florida getaway, I refused to buy dark blue or black anything. I've rejoined the world of color for summer! And while it was nice to get away for a few days, it was even better to get home last night and snuggle under the covers in my own bed!

Fabulous! I'm sticking to my denim and dark colors for a while. But maybe someday....

Okay, Robin, you're on. My nephew's graduation is June 4th. I will weigh in tomorrow morning and try for a 6 lb loss in 6 weeks. I have not done very well on losing weight in 2016. This might be the push I need. :) Details tomorrow. -Olga

    Love the Florida picture!!!
Allergies are getting the best of me I'm really having a hard time breathing so I have been taking it easy til we get past the hump. I hate to go in to see the Dr as he will give this steroid inhaler that works but I pack on the pounds so I would rather just lay low and see if I can muster through it. Though it does make me think ok we are almost to warm weather every day.

I'm in with with your weight loss plan. I don't usually lose a lb a week it's more like 1/2 a lb when I'm trying really hard. But I gained 5 lbs so I am at 145. Let's hope for a loss in 6 weeks. I'd say I'd go for 5lbs but I will have to work my butt off to do it. ( I was just happy I got out of bed this morning to get ready for work. LOL)

Ugh now I definitely have to exercise when I get home from work. LOL :)

    Here are my numbers:
    254 lbs highest weight (2008)
242 lbs started mfp (March 2015)
    211.2 lbs (March 2016)
lots of ups & downs since spring break

    Today: 211.8 lbs
I feel like I'm still heavy enough to try for 1 lb a week for these next six weeks, and then go for half a pound a week after that.
Goal wt: 205.8 lbs by June 4th, my nephew's graduation day.
Sometime this summer, I want to get to ONEderland.

I am off to a good start. I walked to the grocery store, bought only healthy stuff, and walked back. I, too, am a sugar addict. Oh, how I love my sweets! The plan is to avoid having them around and to keep full on veggies.

I'm running out to get my hair cut. Olga, I will post my stats and goals later this afternoon. We can make progress in the next six weeks!

I almost had a great weekend. Almost. I got a lot of stuff done, ate healthy food, and did plenty of walking. But you know how I said I love sweets? Well, I had visitors on Saturday, and they walked in with cake, ice cream, and m&m's with peanuts. I managed to avoid the cake and ice cream, but peanut m&m's are my favorite. And so I binged. :( Other than that, I did great. The m&m's are gone now, so back to routine.

Epic weekend! Church camp (which included howling gale on Friday night - apparently a smaller tent is good in that situation, much to my delight), one of my best friends turned 30 (yes, there was cake and other treats but an amazing celebration for an amazing person!) and watching the local guys competing in the judo commonwealth happening in town (one got gold!)

I tried to stop taking my concussion meds and woke up with a mild headache today, so back on them now! But it was much better than before I got them. Will try again in another month or so...

And then I just got a great special on Bluetooth headphones so now I'm super excited to use them while training! Which is good because I have loads to do for Game of Thrones challenge...

And I'm going to do some Jui Jitsu technique tonight and check out another Jui Jitsu club tomorrow night.

Well the only excitement in my neck of the woods is that Crazy went on a screaming match with a customer last night. So this morning she came in with a note from her Dr. she is unable to work for to start a week. So guess who is working 7 days and has overtime. LOL

When my boss called I was like What? and What? then I was like OK whatever works take the hours while I can and this week is cold so why not.

And she still has a job? Incredible. Well, enjoy the overtime and stay warm!

@CaptainBoing - Best wishes as you continue to heal. I'm sure you'll feel a lot happier when you no longer need to take those meds.
@Living360 - My hair is due for a summer-do as well. Hopefully, sometime in the next week or two.
@NewOR2015 - Sorry about the M&Ms. I'm trying to undo a little extra weight from our trip last week and the extra macaroons last night probably didn't help. :(

@JMarcella57 you know that's my thought the first day I go to work wearing yoga pants or were even a little snippy with a customer and I'm sure they would say don't let the door hit you in the you know what on the way out. LOL

Me too within 2 weeks I'm going for the shorter hairdo. My hairstylist is out for at least a year so I'm just going to go bold and try my backup one and have a picture and say this is what I want. It's only hair. LOL ;)

@2020pinktogo I can't believe Crazy is still there! Is she related to the owner?

Looks like we've each got our goals to keep us going. It feels like a race now. The good thing is that we can each win the race in our own time.

As it looks my next day off is in 20 days and Amy's mom bought us a huge bag of candy. It literally fills the drawer. Normally I'm good but when I work nights and I'm having a rough time getting through the hours I hit the candy. I now have all the calories marked down for everything so I know what I'm grabbing but so does everyone else so the candy isn't moving like it normally would. This is so hard!!!

I visited another bjj club last night. The majority of my friends moved there earlier this year, but for various reasons I chose not to go with them. It is becoming more and more clear that I need to leave my current club for so many reasons and we only have two clubs in town. I actually loved it! Got to do technique and only sat out less than a third of class because of the different style and because I could trust my friend to be gentle with my broken brain. Still not sure exactly when I will move over as I would like to finish my contract at my current club. I feel I owe them that much.

The sad part is that by moving, I am choosing bjj over fencing as their times clash. I am convinced fencing caused my knee problems anyway so taking time away from that is not necessarily a bad idea.

Well this working every single day is truly a pain. How can you bring in a note that doesn't say when you will return to work? According to my boss she isn't coming back to our dept I can't wait to see this happen. But I'm only on the first week and I'm tired. Only good thing is I made myself these rules like I have to bring lunch and no buying goodies. I just may lose some weight in this. Just got to stay focused. Hope you guys are enjoying life. :) til later

I'm back at my mom's (every two weeks now cuz my sister is getting burnt out from being here). Stress and boredom make us eat when we're here. Plus, if there's any kind of celebration it has to involve eating.

@2020pinktogo So why is it that your cuckoo bff gets to come back? Is she protected by some law?

I have just realised that I am in for the coldest winter of my life! I have lost 20 kgs of insulation since last year and I already feel the difference. Having a job that is outside often doesn't help, and of course we don't have central heating here... But, I'm excited to go to Bio tonight and see my friends afterwards!

I look forward to having your problem of reduced insulation. :)
