hey guys, how is everyone doing? I have been so busy this last week. I live in the Houston area and we have been flooding like crazy here. I can't even begin to tell you how much water has come down. Since my daily walking could not really happen, I have been cleaning so hopefully that burned lots of calories also. How are you burning calories? Remember if your new to exercise, take it slow, or wait and drop some weight before you start an exercise program. Weight loss is 80% diet and 20% exercise. Tell me about your week!

Hey sorry to hear about the flooding! My week has been very stressful, our one car died and my daughter has tonsilitis which required an emergency room visit. However all that has worked out well for the weight loss. With a 3.8lb loss this week, really feel like I am beginning to make progress, am automatically reaching for good options food wise rather than debating with myself first. Also got the ok from the specialist to start walking for exercise after a broken toe surgery, so hoping that will help too. Hears to another good week!3

Week 3: 161.8 Not much of a loss, but every fraction of a lb counts. Really rough week this week. Went over some days but then also spent a day where all I ate was a small dinner. One of my patients tried to commit suicide so I had a good period of no sleep staying up with her and the next day I was running around for work so much I didn't eat until dinner and just wasn't that hungry because of the exhaustion and emotions. But I finally got some sleep last night and am feeling better today (and my patient is going to get the help she needs). Plan to go running either today or tomorrow and do some batch cooking for next week0
