This race will run from May 11 to June 15. Hawkins 410(from spring challenge) will be having a race in a separate group which will run from June 20-labor day. I will post on that later in the group.
This race will be a bit different than we have previously done in the past. It is singles versus teams this round. It runs 5 weeks and six phases.
Each member will have to complete each phase to get to the next one. You will have to complete 5 roadblocks or fitness challenges to get to the finish line. You have the choice of leaving out one roadblock but if you finish all you will get extra points bonus of 100 points.
Each phase we will travel to a different location. Each location will be a certain amount of miles or minutes. Since it is singles each phase will be fairly short but you must achieve it before going to the next phase. Each minute you exercise is one mile. So if you exercise 30 minutes =30 miles. Each phase has a bonus section. It will involve a nutritional, accountability or trivia challenge. You can use the bonus for points or miles. Each phase bonus will vary. The person who reaches the finish line first and with the most points is the winner.
I will be not racing with you this round but cheering everyone on.
