Hello all! I would love to find a walking partner in the area. We have so many awesome trails around here. I would much rather walk there than in town where you have to worry about traffic. I will be a slow starter as I am still trying to get back knee strength after surgery and basically two years of inactivity. Not up for power walking yet ;)

    Hiya jewel, Yeah a little too far for me, too. I'll be a permanent Shawano resident soon. But DO walk anyway, with or without a partner. It's ok to start slow. Do the best you can as you recover---And do it all for you. I'll watch for you on the site if you need a "cheerleader." I can emphasize with your situation. Go girl!!
