Hi everyone! This is Katey B here and I just wanted to start this group off by introducing myself and why I am making the choice to start eating healthy. As most of you know, I work in the legal department and I sit most if not all of the day. I found myself snacking and slowly gaining weight. I wasn't happy with myself anymore. Actually I was really disappointed in myself. See, I had gastric bypass in 2009 and worked really hard to lose 260+ pounds. And for me to begin to see those pounds sliding back on, well I was pissed. So here I am, paying more attention to what I put into my mouth instead of letting my lazy lifestyle get the best of me. I am determined to get back down to my goal weight again and would appreciate any support and encouragement.

    I'm Jaime and I work in Product Development. For a long time I found myself 5-10 heavier at the end of each year. I was trying to finish school and get my degree, so it turned into "What's a few more pounds? I'll worry about it later." Over many years, those add up, and I found myself unhappy and energetic.

    I switched to eating whole foods and so far have lost 35 pounds. I still have a way to go on my journey, and still slip back to old habits occasionally, but I have broken the cycling of gaining and am now focusing on losing weight slowly.

    I joined this group to help others and have some accountability when things get tough.
