Whew... Time does fly!!! And my kids get older.... But just the kids... I don't age! :P0

Right? lol I am over here freaking out because next week is my sons last week of kindergarten It went by so fast it makes me so sad I wish he would slow the f down!
Yesterday I ate decent, took the dogs for a walk after work ( I cannot control my big dumb dog, hes too big and too dumb but my landlord/neighbor has torn down our fence in the backyard because she is a nut job so we have to walk them to let them go to the bathroom and I get so stressed when I pull up to the house and hubby isnt home yet because I know tht means my 6 year old has to walk the boston terrier and I have to walk the horse so we never make it farther than 2 houses down to the abandoned house and let them do their business and go home, but I finally got a pinch collar for his dumb @$$ and we were able to walk around the block without him bruising my hand and dislocating my shoulder!!!)
Got home, threw the spaghetti squash in the oven, set my son up with the PS4 and got day 9 of level 1 of the shred done !!1 -
Lol.. am I the only one ageing around here..? My kid is turning 10 on Thursday!!!! AGHHH! Crazyness. I had a good day yesterday, ate within my cal goals kept it sane in spite of my kid getting in trouble at school.. she's done with this year already.. c'mon summer!! Yesterday was a rest day for me so I'll be back on it tonight.. can't decide if I want to go lift at the gym or do JM.. my gym doesn't have childcare so I have to pay $7 extra for that if I want to go. May just wait and go tomorrow and Friday. Hope you ladies are having a great week! Lets do this!!!!!0

Oh no no no, I got a kid turning 11 in June and one turning 10 in September... We are officially heading to Middle School, he's getting the 'your body' talk at school this week! -I mean, we already have them 'the talk' but getting it at school is like a milestone! I'm turning 4-0 in Julyyyyyy....
@heatherc369 hahaha with the horse/dog dragging you through, it must be a funny sight! I fostered a pregnant dog earlier this year, she'd try to run away every time a big construction truck drove by! Took me a few weeks to train that out of her!
@Kerryatoon my 4th grader is done with school today... I got an email from teacher saying he forgot to return a signed permission slip, his signed report card and forgot his research for his history presentation... I am done with school by now... But just wait, in one month I'll be saying I'm done with summer because the boys will be driving me bananas!
I'm plowing through the week! Period and bloating fun! Husband is out of town for two weeks for work and it's probably the busiest month with soccer tryouts, banquets, 5th grade party and graduation, and two kids 'love of learning' presentations, middle school meetings.., etc etc etc... Plus field trip to aquarium today! My working out has been 'mild', treadmill at home and some kettle bell workouts with squats/lunges/etc... But at least I've done it every day. Eating, not too bad, but could be better.... Up 2.5lbs of what I HOPE is period related water retention and bloating!!!! I don't see how I could've eaten 7000+ calories to gain 2.5 lbs... !!!!!!! So frustrating to see such fluctuations!
I'll keep going at it though, not quite ready to give up!! Give me 8 more days of single-parenting two boys and things may be different and I may drink all the vodka I can find! (I know, I know, WIMP)!!!0 -

My fitbit dies yesterday so I know I got my steps in I just didn't get credit for it ...boo!

@NadiaMayl.. OMG.. I'm turning for(cough-ahem)ty in July too! What day is your bday?! Today is my baby's 10th bday and she's with her dad so I just got to see her for an hour before school this morning. She got rollerskates so we are going to go out skating together soon!!! YAY!
This week its been one burning thing after another and I haven't made it to the gym since SUNDAY!!! WHAAAA! I'm going today and looking so forward to it. I'm finding myself slipping into old habits with eating a little bit lately.. The late night sugar snack monster has been released. ~Kerry puts on ninja suit and sharpens sword..~
On a positive note I finally reached my protein goals today.. with food.. and I didn't feel like a gross bottom-feeder slurping up meat and eggs all day.. lol. Might be getting used to looking for protein where I can get it. Still no movement on the scale but I've come to accept that for now and just focusing on my strength training and protein goals.

Happy bday to your kiddo! You'll get to celebrate with her on the weekend, but I can imagine it's hard to spend days away!

I'm having a hard time letting go of my exercise calories, hahaha, I admit, and my period has made me crave chocolate and alcohol more! Plus the husband is out of town for too long... so I am on survival mode! (WIMP)!!! I do like my sack of potatoes... Hehehe

Level 2 is no joke! But I did day 2 today ! I'm having to check in from my phone and the display is all weird so I can't read all the posts completely ugh!! I worked out after dinner today....Def not doing that again....BARF! I am nervous about my weight in tomorrow.....I've been higher than last Fridays weight all week lol1

Yay for day 2!!! I'm nervous about weigh-in days lately. Somehow the scale still reflects 2lbs more than I had 10 days ago. Somehow PMS and period always seems to get me. I can only hope in a few days it all settles back to normal....
I've been reading about the so-called SWOOSH... That sometimes water retention goes on for weeks and suddenly it all flushes out!! Here's to hoping!!
I did a Barbell class today!!! It was hard!! Then I went to get a massage that I won at my gym for 'liking' a status on Facebook... I've never win anything before!! Woot woot!!! It was a good massage!!!!0 -

@Nadiamayl mine is on the 20th!! Merry Unbirthday to you today Yeah unfortunately its her dad's weekend so I have to wait until Sunday to see her. But I will survive.. I'm going to focus on getting in a bunch of quality workouts this weekend. I'm not really sure how I'm pulling off the protein macro.. but a mushroom here, a little peanut butter there, chicken breast and pot roast and YOGURT.. I'm rediscovering my love for yogurt. AGGHHH GROSS.. I could almost smell that ground beef smoothie.. Thanks lady! Blah..
@heatherc369 That's effin awesome that you're still blasting through the SHRED!!! Yeah I tried lifting on a full belly once and I thought every time I squatted I was gonna lose my cookies.. lol. Lessons learned. Plus after you workout if you give yourself about an hour you'll be down to NOSH hard!! Yum.

I was sooooooo on point today with my eating!! HIT ALL MY MACROS... BOOM!
Gym:
15 minutes jogging.. yeah I said jogging. I hate running but I can't get my heartrate up where I want it for a warmup without stepping it up from a brisk walk.WHAAA.. lol. it felt just ok. HA
Barbell Squat: 5x5 70lbs (didn't add weight today, wanted to focus on form)
Bench Press: 5x5 65lbs (I went up 10 on this today, felt I could and I killed it)
Barbell Row: (machine thingey) 5x6 40lbs, just increased reps on this cuz its a challenge
Cable Face Pull: 5x12 10lbs (new accessory exercise for shoulder stability)
Cable Crunch: 5x15 100lbs
Assisted Pullups: 2x5
Hanging Leg Raises (Abs): 3x10
Increasing my cals has made a big difference in the quality of my workouts. Still no change on the scale but I'm beginning to accept that for now. FEELING STRONG! So long and goodnight.

Well, we are just a few days apart @kerryatoon !!! Happy birthday, two months before!! haha
Today, just treadmill, I managed to jog for the entire 50 minutes... JOG, not really run, but that was an accomplishment... not just in the endurance part, but also in the fact that my ADD keeps me from completing long workouts unless I'm being distracted and entertained by an instructor... hehehe I even struggle with a TV show on! So, yay for me!! =P1 -
Yesterday was my daughters birthday party and with the cake and banana macaroon I ate I pretty much destroyed my 1st half of the day's calories. I did turn down pizza and soda (small victory) so I still managed to eat a bomb dinner and keep it a reasonable day for cals overall. Macros we're screwed though. Can't decide if I want to go lift or do a JM shred today.. Hmm.. Hope you're all having a great weekend!!!0

Took a day off today! Just did fun stuff with the boys, watched Angry Birds movie, had friends over for a Nerf Gun Battle, watched cartoons.... Did get my 10,000 steps at least!0

Look at you guys all busy on here through the weekend! that is always when I slack Between graduations and birthdays this weekends eating was bad, gained just over a pound and did not workout at all .....oh well....0

@heatherc369 nah, believe when I say this past week(S) has(ve) been (a) slackish week(s) for me!! The scale has not really worked in my favor and I'm starting to believe that maybe I ate the 1.5lbs that don't seem to wanna go away! I went from 157.6 to 160.1 in the week before my period, and I'd hoped it would all reshift back.
Well, it's the week after my period and I'm down to 158.6.... That's still 1lb more. For some reason 157 looked so pretty and I'm now wanting to grab on to that!! I guess the 8,9 and 0 on 158, 159 and 160 are rounded, chubby numbers, and I DONT'T like them...... Silly huh!?!?
We need deep breaths and a refocused gear. I just fear that summer vacation is around the corner and for some *kittens* reason I always quit at summer time (probably the boys at home and the lack of routine send me over the edge)!!! So you ladies, I've warned you, kick my *kitten* if you start seeing no workouts and poor tracking in the next 3 months, please!!!!!

Well I took advantage of Sunday to go shopping and stock up on healthy food for the week.. I also got my pot roast in the crock-pot and it's all ready.. so I'll be munching some seriously delicious protein. Don't consider myself a meal prepper but I at least have all the stuff to successfully cook at home this week. Bam!
@heatherc369 I decided not to do shred or gym yesterday.. lol. Sooooo.. it's a new week! We got this!
@Nadiamayl Definitely cake over pizza any day. But old me would have just had it ALL. So it was definitely progress It was gooooood cake too..lol. Then for dinner I made Greek lamb loin chops with homemade lemon dill yogurt sauce and roasted cauliflower. YUMM!
Summer is the perfect time to take all this momentum and keep being active and make cooking healthy a part of the day (GRILLING IS GOOD)!! Don't worry we'll kick your kitten0 -
