Hi all. I was sleeved 4/4/16. I was just wondering when everyone added salad back. I have been missing it.

I was told to start adding raw veggies at 4 months. I didn't quite wait that long for some. Diced raw onion got added almost immediately. I need onion, lol. About 2 months out I added in iceberg lettuce to do tacos and other wraps. Then, at 4 months I slowly added 1 raw veggie a day until I had enough to make a salad. That way, when you get sick, you can identify the perpetrator more easily.

I was sleeved 4/18. I have had raw onion (like you Nicole, that is not an option to not have!) and I have had cherry tomatoes, and red pepper (only tried that once).

I added lettuce back last week - had gastric bypass on 4/18/16. I have been using cooked onion since week 3-4, as well as crushed tomatoes..I am not a raw veggie fan :)

I had my sleeve surgery on 12/7/15. I added vegetables 3.5 months following surgery. I eat mostly celery, baby carrots and broccoli, but no more than three small pieces at a time because I can't get all of my protein in if I have too much. I also will wrap a small lettuce leaf around my chicken for lunch or dinner. I do enjoy the crunch. The only time I eat "salad" is when I grab a bite of it off of my sisters' plates when we go out to eat. After getting all of my protein in there is little room for fruits and veggies or other food and not enough time in the day. Aside from an occasional bite after 5 months out I also have not yet eaten bread-type foods....but I might experiment with that soon.
