Apparently Marilyn used 5lb weights and ate a high protein diet (oh, and she didn't like ot tan - she didn't think it was particularly healthy!).

My the gym where I see my trainer has this awesome print of Marilyn lifting a dumbbell in her short shorts and bare midriff top.

    Here it is:

For some people hourglass shape can be impossible because of your natural body type. You either have to lose weight or add it. I'm naturally skinny and cannot get fat if I try, so getting this shape is going to be very hard for me. I have to focus on adding muscle which is all I really can do to get more of a figure. Squats really help the bum, as do lunges. Donkey kicks rock too.

Does anyone have specific belly dance workout videos they recommend?

I love to dance and I try to focus my exercise on things I actually enjoy doing. Sadly with my weight loss I have completely lost my bootie as well, so am trying to hone-in on appropriate exercises to help lift, firm and enhance that area!

    Thanks so much!
