Hi all! Just wanted to stop in and tell you guys that I didn't die. It was close there for a year but I made it through. I'm working on my nutritional status, trying to get back to normal. I have returned to work and my life is basically back to normal except that I'm fairly weak. I am starting to work on that, although it's slow going.

To remind everyone, I had a rare complication to the vsg and almost starved to death because my body was leaking all of my protein and fat and nutrients out into my abdominal cavity. I lost my hair, went into kidney failure, had several infections, and two blood clots. 36 paracentesis, five hospitalizations, several painful tests, and two painful surgeries, I am almost back to normal. My hair is even growing back! Now o just need to focus on getting healthy again!
