Hi All~
I cannot seem to get the mojo for exercise. I don't lack energy. I don't know what it is. I could blame weather, time, etc. but in the end..no excuses. I was thinking of posting a daily fitness challenge (on this post) for the next 7 days. Please feel free to join me.
Today's challenge: Add 500 extra steps to your day.

Got it done! I will add another challenge tomorrow morning.1

I am not quite as reluctant to move today. My walk felt great yesterday and I dropped a tiny bit of weight.
Today's Challenge: Add 15 minutes of weight /kettle bell for upper body to your workout.1 -

Got it done yesterday. I used 2 lb weights which wasn't very challenging but at least I moved my body.
Today's Challenge: Push-ups (10 reps)
Bodyweight squats (20 reps)
Forward lunges—each leg (5 reps)
Plank—side plank (each side) and traditional plank (30 seconds each)1 -
Got it done yesterday. Lunges were terrible but better than nothing!
Today's Challenge: PLAY! Could be frisbee, soccer, whatever strikes your fancy just have fun...1 -
Disc golf today!1

I played some soccer yesterday...with a bunch of little kids.....but it got my heart rate up.

Well, I didn't get 'round to my challenege yesterday. Today will be a beter day.
Today's Challenge: Do 15 minutes of stair climbing or hill-climbing(treadmill at steep incline is fine).1 -
I like the challenges. If a particular challenge you post doesn't fit a person's abilities (like pushups for me), we could post our modified version of that as completed. For me, instead of pushups, I would do a pushup on a high counter.2

Ack! I forgot to post here yesterday. I did the 15 minutes on a treadmill but the incline wasn't so steep. Then, I did a walk yesterday(about a mile).
Today's Challenge: Do 10 minutes of stretching/yoga today.0 -
My 31-year old son challenged me yesterday. Not to a specific task, but to not limit myself. Today I mowed half the yard with a push mower (riding mower is broken) - two 90 minute sessions as fast as I could go and not choke down the mower motor. I have about the same amount to mow tomorrow. My son, hubby, and I mowed the first third on Tuesday. If I do this weekly, that's my cardio with some plyometric movement. We have easily 15 hours of mowing if it is with a push mower. Praying we can get the riding mower fixed soon! LOL1

I got my stretching done yesterday.
