Wow. Still getting used to new board and then running back to WW boards to make sure no one is left behind.

    Any word, Dave?

    Be OP ;-)

Good Morning! I do like this new location. I have also been exploring the meal recording, and exercise. I'm liking it. It is a blend between WW and Fitbit.

    Good morning gentlemen.

Thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts for my DW. The scan, yesterday did not yield the results we hoped for, but it wasn't as bad as it could have been. Her doctor said it does indicate a cancer, but only in the one, small spot. He will present his findings to a panel of doctors Thursday, with the recommendation that she be referred for surgery. This will probably take place in the next week or two.

To top it off, a TB tine test they did last week was also positive, meaning DW was exposed to TB sometime in the past. Her lungs show no sign of infection, but she will need to be treated for that, too, especially with the potential for future chemo compromising her immune system.

She is taking all this pretty well. The presence of our two little grand children really helps.

From a weight management standpoint, all this has been kind of tough, too. We have had several meals and a couple of giant ice cream stops to perk DW's morale. The result has been a 4 lb. uptick in the last week. I'll try to rein that in, starting with a long walk, this morning.

    Sorry for the long post.

Dave, Let DW know that we are praying for her, and you. That is quite a bit to deal with. A few scoops of ice cream seem more than appropriate. The 4lbs will resolve them self when you are able to get back out on the trails. Take care of yourself and of your bridemand do the best you can.

Good Morning from Yosemite! Well just outside in a B&B in Groveland. It was good to be back at our favorite place. We were able to get a few short walks in yesterday afternoon. The drive and walk is left me very sore but just the smell of the pines and incense cedar provide a healing balm to the mind body and spirit. I am in MTBC mode for eating this week. Today we will rent bikes and pedal about the valley. First I have an hour of mat work to do to recover from yesterday and prepare for today. As an extra bonus I got my lifetime pass to the National Park System yesterday! Have a good one!

Late check-in here. Site looks like it will do fine. WI day today. I racked up negative 111 weekly remaining points this week. At least I am tracking everything. Doctor visit last week kind of woke me up... finding a leaky heart murmur. Recommending a cardiac ablation procedure. Time to buckle down and man up.

Dave, awful news for sure, but it's still very good they found it so early. Hopefully real treatable. Treatment not fun, of course, but better chances of success.

    LOL, Mike.

Dave, continued prayers. Cancer sucks. It sounds like your DW is one tough cookie, though. Great she has you for support.

Bill, nice card, Mr Senior Citizen.
