Eating before surgery

Hi I joined this group while waiting for my surgery fund to grow. I found I was eating whatever I wanted because I would loose it after surgery. Stupid move, gained another 15 pounds. So now am counting calories for a couple of months.

I used the months before surgery to start making the changes that I had to adjust to after surgery. This way, I wasn't in shock too bad after surgery. I lost about 45 pounds in the 6 months prior to my bypass. Doing all of this throughout the holiday season was hard for me, but in the end it was totally worth it. I am now 2 months post op and have lost almost 80 pounds since my high weight. Good luck to you!!0
