Soooo.....guess what I just did....I have been debating joining an expensive, Crossfit gym by me. My 12 year old daughter wants very badly to get better at Softball. A big part of her problem is lack of strength & endurance soooo....instead of joining an expensive gym (that I really cannot afford) just for myself...I bought...the P90X workout DVD series so we BOTH can try our hand at it. From what I understand it is going to KICK OUR BUTTS but I know someone who did this & got AMAZING results. Are you all familiar with it? I want to help both her AND me so badly but I don't even know where to begin...I'm thinking with this...here is some guy telling us exactly what to do...it will TEACH us what to do & how to do it. I think with a kid my daughters age...things are received better coming from someone else rather than her parent anyway...I hope I just didn't waste a bunch of money but I THINK this is going to be good for the both of us. Wish us luck!!

    Congrats @heatherc369 !!!
@LizSmith55 P90x works, I've had 3 friends who follow it and the changes were awesome! I tried it years ago and let me tell you, it WILL kick your butt. Don't get discouraged in the first few days, take it to your rhythm and you'll do great!!!!!! I can't remember why, but stopped after 3 weeks so I couldn't see the full results. So glad you and your kid can share this journey! Let us know how it goes!!!! :)

@NadiaMayl I KNNNOOWWW...I am excited BUT a little scared...lol. I know this one woman who did it...she was very "soft" before doing it & wound up RIPPED! I have never been "RIPPED" a day in my life...(I've been fit...but never like that) & I need to kick start the rest of my weight loss to get to goal. I am so stagnant right now. I lose a few lbs...then I gain it back...then lose it again...I need to have something kick my A@@ into gear & just get the rest done. I need 30lbs gone like yesterday....we'll see...(biting nails)
