For September, our challenge is to work out at least 21 days. We count days worked out, not number of workouts, so only one workout a day counts.

This challenge is open to anyone who wants to join and is willing to follow the simple, but important, instructions for posting workouts.

We keep a running tally of the month's workouts. To do that:

Copy or quote the most recent post, including the date (changing it to the current date if necessary), and either add your name to the list or update your number if your name is already on there. Failure to copy the most recent post will result in other participants' numbers being goofed up, which isn't fair to the rest of the group.

Keep tabs on your number to make sure it's accurate, and let me know if there are issues. In groups, we have the ability to edit and/or delete posts if necessary. Thanks, and welcome! :flowerforyou:

Sorry I've been absent again. My senior mom fell the other day and hit her head, so I've been busy taking care of her and not working out. Of course, that doesn't explain all the missed workouts before she fell. :open_mouth: She's doing a little better now, but she is still pretty wobbly when walking. She needs help with just about everything. The last thing she needs is to fall again. Ugh. But I'll be back eventually! My brother is coming down today to relieve me somewhat, but I need to spend time getting my house back into order. At least I can work when taking care of Mom. I just take my laptop. When you're an editor, you can work anywhere you have an internet connection!

I think I'll have a better showing this month. My mom is improving, and she now has a walker, which has been a godsend. It's something she should have had a long time ago, but she resisted it. My brother and I convinced her to try it after her fall, and she absolutely loves it! She still needs help, but not nearly as much as before. I'm slowly but surely getting my head above water with my work and catching up on my housework. It's hard to run a business and two households. My husband tries to help, but he slips back into his habits. He works a ton of hours, so it's normally easier for me to take care of everything here because I work from home. Except it's been far from normal the last week or so.

Thanks for your offer to help with the group! Now that October is set up, the only thing I need help with is actually getting my workouts in. It would be lovely if someone could do that for me, but I don't think that's how it works.

Good to hear she is doing better. I think it is hard to give up independence and the walker probably signifies it a bit.

Absolutely. And she was worried it would be hard to use. On the contrary, it has given her more independence because she can do things she relied on me for before, and it's extremely easy and comfortable for her to use. Yesterday, she said, "Everyone should have one!" LOL
