Good morning gentlemen.

Going to be a cool, wet day - very fall-like - here on Puget Sound. I might still go do some work on the porch railing. Won't be as enjoyable as working with my DS over the long weekend. He has to work for a salary. I work for smiles, thanks and grandkids' hugs.

Morning-- er, afternoon. Went fishing yesterday morning in a local pond, until the winds from Hermine blew my canoe all over the place, despite using a trolling motor.

Dropped DS off this morning for stress-test, CAT scan and echocardiogram, to see if he qualifies for a liver transplant sometime in the future. Sunday he swam 1900 yards; hard to envision him sick enough to need a transplant, but the clinical signs seem to all be there.

Doing the grandkid shuffle this afternoon. Pick up GD from field hockey, take GS to peewee football, pick up other GD from JV soccer and other GS from varsity football. Dizzying.
