Each night, I write a message to you. One motivating reason is that I want you to be able to find the next dates "discussion". The way that MFP works, is that instead of having a calendar, we need to set up each individual date of the month as if it was a 'discussion'. If you ever log-on and don't see the day's date showing, just click on the words "all discussions'. You will find that below the dates that are showing.
Have a great September day! Rick

For 10 days, I've been home from Glacier National Park, but today was the first day that I really got back to my normal workout. My normal workouts are 5-6 days per week of 30+ minutes of cardio with 2 of those days having a significant strength component.
Today: Exercise was 32 minutes of Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) and Preparation for Movement. Then 33 minutes of Cardio/Strength Intervals (HIIT).
    Calories were below limit.
Tracking was good, even the water.

I am an emotional eater and Mother Nature soon to make her appearance isn't helping! Long long day at the hospital today. Came home to see my 2 girls (13 + 16) did not do what I asked. Take in the 2 recycling bins, set the table and take showers so I can help them straighten their hair for picture day at school ) NOTHING WAS DONE! They still wanted to eat supper though! I was not happy and my hand went into the guacamole chips chocolate, cookies and pistachios!!! I was possessed!!! I told the girls to have a little pow wow to discuss and rectify the problem. I don't ask for much. But after a busy day at work everyone needs to pitch in!!!

Then we had a power failure!!! My phone died and I couldn't charge it!!! Uggggg not a good day!!! This is why I couldn't check in last night:(

first day of training went well So My daughter called and we were chatting and she was discussing her training and she freaked me out I stayed calm til I got off the phone as a research scientist they are trained to never be taken they are to fight for their lives because the chances of them surviving once they are removed from the facility are slim to none. OK talk about a rude awakening. Something a parent never wants to know.

How terrifying @2020pinktogo ! I can't even imagine - I have horrible thoughts with my DD just away at college! My beau has to travel to some dodgy places for work and I'm forever worried something is going to happen, he can be kind of lackluster in street smart type awareness.

Did I exercise, walked 20 minutes at lunch then went to a concert, was a mile hike up hill just to get to the entrance, a long ramp and then about 20 half flights of stairs. Did the stairs 2 times up, and then back down afterwards. I hate stairs, my legs felt like jello. 3 months ago I wouldn't have been able to do this. I was very proud that I did it, had a blast and came home wet and happy.

I logged everything, and managed (barely) to stay under calories. Thank goodness for long concert walks. I even said no to the ice cream last night. Go me!
