Cool temps. Fall is here. Seeing some leaf change already.
Mike, how frustrating. Sorry to hear about the postponement.
Be OP ;-)

Good morning gentlemen.
I certainly sympathize with the frustrations of medical delays, Mike. And it's worse when it's a loved one, not yourself. Keep hiking up those mountains. The outdoors have a proven therapeutic effect on our mental outlook.0 -
Good Sunday morning y'all. Yeah, family is livid, but DS's spirits are very good.
Hiked up and down mtn. again yesterday -- 6 days in a row now. Scale hasn't budged from 189, though, except for the usual day to day wobbling. MFP still telling me each day I'll be 172 more or less in 5 weeks if I eat and exercise like I am. Gonna also start lifting hand weights again; that should be a help in metabolism boosting.
40° this morning. Fall has fallen.0 -
Good Morning! Going near triple digits today as summer fights back. Mike, check your MFP setting diet/fitness profile and make sure your default activity level is correct. You can always reduce it to a lower level and see how that works out.
I started learning the Gokhale Method for back/posture management yesterday by reading the intro in the book and attending a live online workshop they are trying out for the first time. This was a referral from my Pain Doc. I am getting out of the house today to attend our local virtual "Beat The Blerch" fun run/walk featuring cake, bacon, candy for nourishment. My wife and I will work the runners aid table and supply the illicit healthy fruit for non believers. We did this 2 years ago and had a blast. Attending the actual event last year and decided ours was more fun. I may attempt the one mile loop with a new mother and baby that are coming. I haven't tried walking in days. Then a birthday for our friends one year old. Hope I hold up. The rest of the day will be recovery while I watch the DVRs of todays games. Go Niners!0 -
Good Morning!
Weight up a couple of pounds this week. Ugh.
Storms last night. Much cooler this next week.
Lots of chores on tap for today, but nothing too taxing. We have our annual Walk Like MADD next Saturday, and there are a bunch of things to get ready for that.
Mike and Dave, still keeping your families in prayer. Bill, praying extra fervently that your back pain will be managed0 -
Have a good Sunday men.0
