Had a better eating-day yesterday, although I didn't track. No opportunities for binging was part of it. Bought myself some new rain gear-- my old stuff got soaked while I was hiking a few weeks ago in a downpour, and so it was time. Cleaning my place today; need to do some painting to brighten things up a bit.
Be good out there.0 -
Good Morning,
Wish we could use or needed rain gear, ground so dry pick bounces off plus it continues to be in 80's during the day.
I'm giving up cleaning till we finish sheetrock work in house, would not do any good.
CK levels way up again, told to cut back on activity but when I go to cardiologist he'll want to know what I'm doing; does not make sense.
Enjoy the Day,
Sam I am0 -
Mornin' gents.
Sam, good that you are monitoring those CK levels...I did some quick research on what causes elevated CK levels.
" Levels of CK can rise after a heart attack, skeletal muscle injury, strenuous exercise, or drinking too much alcohol, and from taking certain medicines or supplements. If this test shows that your CK levels are high, you may have muscle or heart damage. CK is made up of three enzyme forms. These are CK-MB, CK-MM, and CK-BB. CK-MB is the substance that rises if your heart muscle is damaged. CK-MM rises with other muscle damage. CK-BB is found mostly in the brain. "
Hope they come back down soon.

Good Morning!
So glad that today is Friday! Whew! All-ya-alls wore me out this week!
Sam, take care of yourself!
Bill, I hope that you find relief soon.
I keep all of you men in prayer, regularly.
Nothing special planned for this weekend. That is a good thing.
Have a great day!0 -
Morning all. Beautiful Fall day here. Really starting to love this working at home thing....sitting in my office in sweats and sipping on a cup of coffee... Be well all.0

Good morning gentlemen.
They still don't have an appointment for me for sleep therapy; they're trying to find an authorized provider.
Hope to make an appointment for DW, Doc says they will treat her for an active case of TB - that doesn't manifest itself with any symptoms. She'll have to take three or for drugs for nine months, but at least we'll have a plan, moving forward. And cancer is off the table again - that's a good thing.0 -
Holding good thoughts for Dave and his wife. I have had positive TB skin test for over 40 years but no known activity. Not exactly sure how they decide if I were to have active TB without symptoms. hmm. Glad to hear cancer is off the table. Wish I didn't have to make those decisions all the time with my mostly indolent lymphoma.
Anyhoo today is DW b-day. mostly celebrated it Wed before my DD had some what I might call "clean-up" surgery following her lumpectomy. She has had a cold so probably no 2nd dinner out this week.0 -
Good Morning. Good visit at the Drs office. He wasn't there but the nurse practitioner was pretty dialed in. Another needle in the hip to calm things down a bit. Back on anti inflammatory at a larger dose, increased the gabapentin and 3 weeks of trigger point injections are scheduled to treat the spasm in the back, and at least one more diagnostic set of facet joint injections are in for approval. Cauterization is still the anticipated plan depending on the results from the facet joint injection. At least there is a plan. Back off pain meds for now. Hopefully sleep quality will improve. In the meantime tracking continues.
Have you ever noticed that we have begun to live up to the name of this group, but not in the way we once intended?0 -

LOL, yep...its what happens when you get a bunch of aging baby boomers together.
