Don't forget about these, it's the beginning of the challenge, measure yourself. Many times we see inches lost before we see pounds lost. Celebrate everyday you stay on track as a victory!

My first NSV is - not being hungry?!
I used to get home from work starving, which led to bad food choices, or I'd hit the vending machines at midafternoon. Since I started MFP, just tracking my food has led me to increase protein - and add a protein rich snack in midafternoon. Now I'm not starving when I get home, and I have more energy all day.5 -
I can exercise hard (hill workouts, pull-ups, HIIT) for 30 minutes and not be sore the next day!3
-
I work in a detention center and one of the kids that came back told me i looked at lot smaller!! Made my day!!!6

I tracked everything even though it wasn't what would have been the healthiest for me. I consider that a victory because if I'm not being honest I have nothing.7

Did insanity and walked today even when I really didn't want to... blew my diet, but st least I got some exercise....
Tomorrow the goal will be to stick to the diet!!!4 -
being able to wrap a regular size bath towel around myself.....awesome.8

I've had a couple of people tell me that I look beautiful in the last few days. No one ever says that! I feel like maybe my face and hair and body are all looking just a little bit better, a little more glowing. I'll take whatever compliments I can get!8

Wore a top today that the last time I wore it I looked like a stuffed sausage. Today it was loose on me and I even got a few compliments.4

I have super high blood pressure but since I got back to my exercise and eating right I have been hopeful it was going to come down. Today it was a WONDERFUL 109/78 woohoo9

The last time I went home (about 2 or 3 weeks ago) my mom stopped, looked at me, and asked "Have you lost weight?". I mean, I had maybe dropped a little since last being home but all that lifting must be paying off5

I am wearing a pair of jeans to work today which I haven't been able to button up since 2013. Today, they fit like a glove!6

My super skinny pre baby jeans fit well enough for me to lounge around in them all day.

Victories:
People notice the weight loss
Can fit old jeans
More energy to exercise longer
Can lift heavier2 -
I got up and out for a 7 am trainer appointment on Sunday even though I'd been sick for 4 days before with Fever. No excuses here! Plus she said I worked very hard! Oh yea!6
-
I finally fit into some clothes that I haven't fit into in about 3 years...8
-
I finally looked in the mirror this morning and saw my face. The only way I can describe it is that the bloat is gone. I saw pretty. I don't think it's about the weight lost, I think it's about the attitude. Knowing that I'm doing something good for myself. On the right path. I call that a victory!6

Started this process at a tight 16 jeans and even had a pair of 18 that fit much more comfortably. Yesterday I was shopping and saw a pair of jeans I liked. I'm down to a size 12 now but they only had a 10. I tried them on and they pulled right up! EEK! I'm in a 10 now!10

I WENT DOWN A PANT SIZE!!! In like, at least 8 different brands and styles. I'm way too pumped about this, other than the fact I can't afford to replace all my old pants right now :P9

Comfortably made in to the 4th belt notch today!8

Ran my first 5k on Saturday and I can do a 1m plank. Plus the hill setting on the elliptical at the gym doesn't kick my butt as bad. It still does but I'm more resilient now!6
-
I can get back in some clothes that were not fitting me since my last pregnancy. Oh and I kicked the butt of the first 20 min run of c25K! Actually it kicked mine too, but I made it throught!7
-
Ran my furthest run today (even if I did lock myself out of the apartment and wake up my roommate). Hoping to run to 4.5 or 5 miles by the weekend!5
-
Woke up this morning to leave by 5 15 am to get to the gym before work! I'm actually enjoying the workout. Did I just say that?5
-
Amazing run today! Upped it to 4.2 miles and completed it in 51 minutes!2
-
Sounds funny, but when I went for a long car trip with five others, for the first time I was put in the back seat with the two smaller ladies because I'm actually loosing girth.6

When I smile I have my dimples back. It has been years since they have been visible. Well they are back to stay. My neck and collar bone are becoming more defined. Never had that before. My size 14 jeans no longer fit. My size 12s do, again. My school scrub pants always fit abit tight around the crotch area, not anymore. YAY for non scale victories!!!!3

I love reading all these NSVs!
I hit one today. I pulled on some fresh jeans, directly out of the dryer. Now usually, this task fills me with dread because it takes an act of Congress to get them buttoned, and then I'm miserable because they're cutting me in half the entire day. I've been too stubborn to buy a larger size because that would be admitting I was over 250lbs.
Now that I'm definitely NOT that anymore... I pulled the jeans on, unsure of what to expect when low and behold...
They buttoned and zipped with ease. AND feel really loose in the thighs, where before they were tight.
YES!7 -
I wore a pair of skinny jeans the other day. Expecting to look the worst in then, sorry and like a muffin. Not th at day. They fit rather nicely and made it look like I have a butt. Lol1

Had the most awesome weekend with the same group that has gotten together every Thanksgiving for the last 35 years. We come from several distances and meet somewhere in New England. We rented an old farm house in Tyringham Mass and had a blast. 10 adults and 3 little boys.3
