Good Morning BBB.
Up and at it early - working on a commercial job as an animal handler - the job is for Straight Talk (cell phone) and its with a potbellied pig and a chinchilla. Fun.
I wish I could drive over and meet up with Kelly and Steph in Indy.
Do good out there everyone.0 -
Morning Gang~
You know you've hit the big time when your big screen sidekick is a Chinchilla! We can say we knew you when....
So Lou.....'What's next??'
Meeting with surgeon went well. Likely schedule for week of 12.12..... L4/5 and L5/S1 are shot and will require fusion/artificial disc replacement. Couple days in hospital and a few weeks down time.
Busy day here. Have fun in Indy ladies!!!

Mornin' BBB.
Artificial disc tech is very cool and relatively new, still semi cutting edge. Hope this is goes well for you, Skip.
Kelly, did you get my text? Just kidding...I am the worst kind of stalker...I ignore my target. Am jealous of you and Steph meeting for coffee/beer/martini.
Chinchilla handler? That has an odd ring to it, LOL. Have fun Raine. Pot bellied pigs usually have pretty neat personalities.

Good morning
Looks like we will be meeting Thursday. Woo hoo.
The commercial sounds great. Have fun.
Have a great day.0 -
Sounds fun Raine. You do the most interesting side gigs.
Slept poorly last night. I'm guessing 4 different time zones in the past week plus daylight savings time is really messing with me. Glad I choose Thursday for the meet up so I can sleep tonight.1 -
Good Morning,
Do not like potbellied pigs since my DB gave DD one for Christmas one year without asking either me or DW. I paid him back by giving nephew a drum set. Not as easy to train as goat we had, pig was sentenced to outside after a month of DD trying to housebreak; of course when one saw DD's room she was not housebroken why would I expect her pig to be.
Does Jack get to help direct?
Carrying stuff downstairs saw DMIL's space, looked worst than when kids finished moving her in Sunday; even worst than DD's room when she was in high school. I did not say anything, about an hour later she comes upstairs asking DW to help her find her glasses. There is no way I would've attempted to find anything down there. DW had called me several times yesterday asking to talk to a sane person; now one may wonder why she called me.
Skip, hate to hear about surgery; but we will pray for a speedy recovery.
Mary, go ahead and put lights up; just don't turn them on till Thanksgiving. And please take them down by mid January. There is a house I would not look at because the next door neighbor still had Christmas lights hanging around house in July.
With all the smoke, fall pollen and dry air my sinuses are beginning to get aggravating.
Enjoy the Day,
Sam I am1 -
LMAO, Sam!1

Good morning BBB Friends. I'm wondering how a potbellied pig and a chinchilla would use a cellphone. I guess I'll have to wait and see. Sounds like a fun time in Indy on Thursday. Skip, good luck with the surgery. Sometimes ya just have to do what you just have to do. Hopefully Lisa is having a quieter week than last week. As Sam mentioned we have smokey skies from the fires north of us. We could really use some rain. Lou, I hope you have a great What's Next™.1

Morning BBB
Yay for Kelly and Steph's gtg!
The lights outside at my house will likely not get up til Black Friday weekend. And if by chance sooner, they will not get turned on til after thanksgiving, for sure. And they will promptly get put away likely second week of Jan, weather permitting brrrrr, ice, snow, below zero, etc.
Not for me, but wonder how many homes will have this new Spotlight Laser Light Projector thing going on outside?
Wishing you a very successful surgery and recovery Skip!
Sam, you are a saint given your new living arrangements with dmil! Keep the stories coming, they make me smile and miss my old people.
Raine, have a great shoot - you'll be more famous then you already are!
Like Dennis said, What's Next™ Lou?0 -
Good morning, folks.
I'm not entirely sure What's Next™, but I'm getting started on it. As part of the sale of the company, my position was eliminated. The buyer was twice our size and already had a CFO. I had 2 months of advanced warning, but was required to see it through to get my bonus and severance. We started our road trip the day after it closed. Because dates kept shifting, I was unable to do much of anything in advance.
So today, I'm applying for the dole and will be calling resume services to help piece together my first resume in over a dozen years. The goal is simple - find something good and quick so I can bank as much of what I earned in the sale as possible.
This isn't being posted on FB, so your discretion is appreciated. There are too many FB friends that are former coworkers and I don't want their rumor mill firing up. If you saw the Ramen noodle references on FB, now you understand why.
On a brighter note, Cecília returned to work today for her first time since her surgery.0 -
Lou, I am praying that your "what's next" is exactly what you're hoping for. I know change can be hard, and scary, but I am confident you'll make it through to the other side and be better for it.
Skip, should we start sending you projects to do in your down time?0 -
Lou - I'm pretty good at resume writing.... Happy to help - bvpowers@cox.net
Good news for Cecelia!
Skip0 -
Lou, what Lisa said! All the best to you, something even better is waiting for you! Now that you are home alone all day, what are you cooking Cecilia for dinner?! NO MORE RAMEN either.

Yup Lou wishing nothing but that the best of fortunes head your way.0
-
Wow, Lou...I do not think it will take you long to find what's next. Great to hear Cecilia has recovered enough to go back to work.0

Sending good vibes Lou.0
