Last week, I spent 2 days in Los Angeles. I took my daughter, Catherine and her husband to the Magic Castle, which is a nightclub with small venues for magicians. They had this photo spot set up at the entrance.

Good morning!! Well it's freezing out my mother told me to save my warmer clothes for the end of the week but I put on the long johns anyway. I still haven't decorated for xmas I really need to do this soon. LOL3

That nightclub sounds amazing @RangerRickL !
I've not decorated yet either @2020pinktogo
I went to my niece's nativity show today so am feeling more festive. She was a star and I shed a proud little tear.
Yes x 3. A bit gentle on the exercising though cos now I think I have an ear infection. These winter viruses are taking it out of us!
Hope everyone's had a great day.3 -
Watched the thermometer and debated about going outside. Picked the wrong side for that toss. Ended up going to spin class for 55 minutes. That instructor was gruelling. Yikes. I got an average in the 90s and I was having to take breaks to get it down to that. Spin class, I must have atrophied some. I got to learn to do a steadier pace. I was overclocking my heart.
No Buddy today. Those kids are going to a Christmas show. They got more adults than kids for that excursion, so I bow out.
That little guy is way stronger than when I first seen him in Sept. I keep thinking about how to describe that. He is better motivated too. He is happy.
I got 700 calories for that spin class so I think I can have some grilled cheese sandwiches. I think I can make them at 200 cal each. Haven't had a beer in a few days and I still got a couple of 'passes' in reserve.... But Sunday what? We are out of town eating in restaurants. Don't know if that is an automatic pass or not.
Went to a dollar movie yesterday. Do you believe there is still such thing as a dollar movie?
3 yesses and no additional pass.

Ok, full disclosure, last night after I checked in here, I had a snack, and thus, went over. So I believe that means I have to take a pass day. Strike 1.
On the positive side, though, I lost 1.5 points this week. Inching along, but in the right direction.
Have a cozy evening, everyone. : )6 -

Goodness, you guys! I decorated before Thanksgiving. I love Christmas!
I went to my parents' house today, and my mom was baking Christmas cookies. I indulged in sweets, but tracked everything. Thus, I didn't eat very healthy, but still stayed within calories and made it to the gym. Despite the indulgence, I can positively say this is my healthiest holiday season yet.
I hope that everyone is enjoying the holidays, decorations or not!!4 -
@pears734 I believe that I am having the healthiest Christmas season so far too. I will take a pass on Christmas Day when our whole family is together. Like @deejkush I save calorie space in my daily budget for my daily 6ounce glass of wine.
Today:
Calories: under by 380
Tracking: good
Exercise: the off day slow walking on the treadmill. Tomorrow I plan Day 2 of HIIT.
I do not have @bocasdelbob ability to stay at 90% of maximum heart rate. I top out at 85% and then immediately back off to get down to my exercise base heart rate of 60/65% of MHR.
The days that I do intervals, I experience the highest metabolic residual effect for more hours. I assume that I burn more calories those days2 -
Yes x 3 - Early AM swim, decorated the tree this evening after Chinese food and a tiny slice of cake (all tracked) for hubby's bday. It's almost a family tradition.3
