    Mornin' BBB.

Got a text from Skip last night. He was out of surgery and a bit painful. Still had time to joke about getting a sponge bath from a young female nurse. Hope he is doing better with the pain this am.

    Good Morning,
    HAPPY HUMPING,
Skip, hope you are beginning to recover and heal.
Such a short time till Christmas,
There's a lot more stuff going on than I have energy for, and some do not understand we all have to set priorities and not spread ourselves to thin.
    Yoga tonight,
    Enjoy the Day,

    Good morning
Furnace went out. It was a cold night.
Thermostat read 58 downstairs this morning.
Happy to get out of the house. Warm car.
    Have a great day

58 degrees is what we keep our downstairs, 65-68 upstairs.

Skip had a hard night with post op pain. Hoping his pain management guy gets his pain under control ASAP. Some pain OK...lots of pain delays recovery.

Sam, I hope I have your energy someday. Am better since getting knees and hip injected. Maybe once new knee heals up I'll be able to keep up with you. Sounds like you are so popular that even if you were a younger man you would have trouble satisfying all those that request your presence and services.

    Good Morning BBB.
Bill (Skip) contacted me last night - surgery went well. He wants BBB to know that all the love and prayers are appreciated and that he loves his BBB family. In a text this morning he said he had had an MRI at 2am and is now waiting for the doctor to make rounds.

Hope Skip is on the mend and they get pain under control.

We keep our house at 63 and if we are out and while sleeping it's at 59. Our basement stays at 60 with vents closed - 3/4 below ground.
Mary - enjoy hosting the gtg - ho ho ho
Kelly - I hope you get your furnace fixed today - if not then come here for a visit!

Good morning BBB Friends. Best wishes for Doc Skip this morning. Bring on the meds. Kelly, hoping you get the furnace fixed today. I'd have a hard time stretching Emma into a 2 dog night. While on the subject I am getting a Nest thermostat for Christmas. I'm not sure if I need to be smart enough to use it or does it have all the smarts? Sam, remember what Nancy Reagan taught us, "Just say no".

    Morning BBB

Thanks for the update on skip.

Have a Christmas party tonight. Don't plan to stay too late.

•YIKES Kelly! Brrrr. We do have a wood stove but kinda iffy for backup.
•ENJOY the drugs Skip (just kiddin') and the sponge bath.

Oh I have had a 3 dog night before. While in graduate school we lived in a modified log cabin with some fireplace heat. You do get squashed when two Borzois (Russian Wolfhounds) and a Collie plop down on ya in bed. But hey ya stay warm enough.

Dennis - we have the Nest thermostats and love them. Old house so two zones = two Nests. Let me know if you have any questions.

    Furnace fixed.
I hear a sweaty Italian fixes all.
I probably should've had a few last night to keep me warm.
