Hello! I'm Randi, 40, and a geek. My first love is Sci-Fi. I love the classics (Ray Bradbury, Isaac Asimov, etc). I love new stuff (John C. Wright's Golden Age trilogy is amazeballs). I've been a dyed-to-the-wool Trekkie since I caught a syndicated episode of the original series when I was a little girl sneaking out in the middle of the night to watch TV. I love all incarnations of Trek. I quite enjoy Star Wars, too. I discovered fantasy as a young adult via David Eddings, then was introduced to LOTR. Love the Harry Potter books. Not really the films, though Fantastic Beasts looks promising. Oh, and I enjoy horror novels and some horror films.

What else? The Marvel Cinematic Universe, some of DC, Supernatural, Once Upon a Time, Doctor Who...

I'm not a gamer. (Hubs and many of my children are.) I didn't grow up with a gaming console or a computer. Books, shows, and films are where my nerdy little heart lies.
