Blocks vs Calories

Just ate up 745 of my allotted calories literally. Any thoughts or ideas on planning your blocks and trying to have some foresight on the calories you're gonna "chew" up?
I guess just a lot of trial and error...

For this particular challenge it is going to be trial and error because I don't think the block system is "perfect". I think the first week is going to about getting a feel for what works.0

Coconut milk and Almond Milk?...how the heck these fit in?...what blocks and what amounts??0

I believe the milks count for one block of carbs and one block of proteins.0

Maybe tonight sit down and start mapping out blocks for tomorrow and add it in to mfp then make some adjustments before meal time comes. I'm sure we will get into a routine soon enough0
