Today, I'm flying to Phoenix, AZ. My wife, Rose, the Snowbird, is happy in her condo near North Mountain Park. I'll be with her for two weeks (she gave me visitor privileges). I'm traveling with another couple who have been in Phoenix with us the last 2 years. The husband, Vic, and I have been great friends since high school. Have a great day and I'll report in later.

Nice day for a run here. Why am I posting a not so great picture of one of my cats? Well, this is her a few days ago when she kept running and following me down the hill to the running trail heads. Over and over. I kept bringing her back home but she was determined to go. Lol. Didn't want to lose her several miles from home (or teach her to go far), so I eventually brought ) her home and put her inside. She is a sweetie.

Rick, take a hike for me and catch some good Arizona Vitamin D while you're out there. It's bound to be better than popping a vitamin pill, as my physician has recommended I do. I'm not much into supplements but I do try and eat right and take a multivitamin most days. Less frequently do I remember the recommended extra D and calcium.
Today - yes x 3 - 1600 meter swim. Time to get ready for tomorrow.2 -

@phoebelayla so cute! I used to have two cats go walking with me and my German Shepherd dog in neighborhood. It's a pretty funny scene.
Alright, confession: 2nd day of Chinese New Year and on top of that, I am not sure if other ladies have the same monthly problem - I want to eat more or feel like I constantly want to eat for couple days. So, the last couple days I have been gaining weight (lowest 158, and I have a feeling I might be over 160 tomorrow).
My goal right now: go back to my routine and do what I used to do, and make sure I am under 159.2 by Jan 31st (keep that 10lbs loss for this month).
Today, I did eat over calorie budget, and didn't exercise - but I tracked everything.2 -

Today was sunny in AZ. I did not get out to the trails but did get in a nice walk in the afternoon sun!

@fitqueenbess No kitty yet I am resolved to thinking she is safe in someones home and will return when she realizes how much we spoil her.

Exercise? Yes another short walk for me today and somehow ended up still getting 10K steps on my rest day.

@hkaccompanist You are not alone in that struggle. I used to gain a lot of water weight, and I always want to eat everything in sight. The nice part is that when it's over, and you get back into your routine, your weight gets back to normal too. Just a part of life haha0
