Anyone get really dry skin on a juice fast?

I see this board isn't super active, but I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else. I'm on day 4, have lost a few inches and about 8lbs, hunger is finally waning today  and I'm eating a wide variety of veggies, started out with about 30% fruit, now down to about 20% also taking a tablespoon of olive oil and a tablespoon of coconut oil every day and a very small protein powder/almond milk glass a day. My skin just looks dry and doesn't have the glow that happened the last time I juice fasted (for a week). I'm planning to go 40 days and really need my skin to bounce back if there is any considerable weight loss.

Any help or ideas are so appreciated!

How long ago was your last juice fast? I haven't heard much about dry skin being a common side-effect (though certainly possible). I would look more at other factors, such as season/weather, TOM, or medical "flare-ups".
