Feb 1:
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? I walked the dog for an hour and a half. My fitbit said 40 active minutes out of that hour and a half. This is because my dog has OCD and has to stop.at.every.tree.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes, but it was a close-run-thing. I went for a coffee and they forced a free giant vanilla bean muffin on me straight from the oven. I had to white knuckle it through the rest of the day. What's that you say? I could have said no? Hush.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes indeed. 650 cals of vanilla bean muffin. Outstanding.
Feb 2:
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes. Although it was 37 degrees (98.6 F) here yesterday. When you start the walk with a sweat-soaked shirt and even the dog wants to sit it out in the shade it takes alot of the fun out of it.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes, as long as we're talking about net calories, yes I did.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes. I have a goal to tighten up my logging this year, so I'll be weighing my 'small handful' of cashews to check it couldn't feed a small country.4 -

Here is a heart-to-heart about the Winner's Circle and you!
First, it's very important to have a goal and a way to affirm people who meet that goal. In this group, we award each member who completes a month by fulfilling the tracking; calories target; and daily exercise AND only uses 3 or less Pass Days with the Winner's Circle. It's important and it's a really good thing!4 -

UAC team members are working to be in the Winners Circle, but we don't give anyone the boot who continues to be committed to building the habits of accountability. Before I became the leader of the UAC, if you used more than 3 pass days, you were out until the next month. I got the boot from time to time. I rejoined at the beginning of the next month. But, I did not like getting the boot and while out of the group, I lacked group accountability.
I hope that you stay in the UAC, as long as you want group accountability.
People come in and go out of this group for lots of their own reasons. I won't give you the boot!

You are a GREAT group leader @RangerRickL and I truly appreciate not getting the boot! that was part of the reason I never joined before, even if we don't make it to the Winners Circle it's nice to have the accountability and support!
Doing ok and feeling good about Day 3, admittedly not quite AS positive as days 1 and 2, but GOOD nonetheless...
Didn't get my lunch walk in as I had to get some news to my husband and had to take lunch earlier than usual so another co-worker could get to the hospital for the birth of a new family member, I will make time for something this evening and check back in as usual in the Morning!

FEBRUARY 3 - I'm back on track, having had a good day today! I'm on a early schedule today because I'm leaving on a jet plane in the morning!
- Exercise - Morning yoga class. I really didn't want to get up so early, I really didn't want to go to class, but I did because that was the plan. It was a killer class and we closed with giving thanks for a body that can work so hard! Yeah - I like that. So glad I went.

I appreciate that we don't get the boot once we take three pass days. This is my fourth UAC, and I have yet to make it to the winners circle. However, even after my pass days, I continue to try to stay accountable. It's like working a muscle in that the more you practice, the stronger you'll get. Love this group!
Also, I weighed in yesterday, and as it turns out, I was only 1 lb away from making my February goal weight! I don't really care that I didn't make it. This group helped me get closer to this goal than I have ever been. I'm so excited! Thanks to everyone who has supported me and acted as inspiration4 -

Sometimes I wonder how come I have time to do volunteer works, help my friends or just hang out with my friends but not have time for myself to do some exercises. Tired of using cleaning as my workout... so I am going to try "walking" as my priority, especially walking with my dog. My friend has suggested me not to sit down when I get home from work. She might be onto something, cos I start chilling and forget what I NEED to do once I sit down.

I'm a bit late to report but for the 3rd. I did very well with a YES for logging in YES for staying under my calorie goal with some to spare And YES for exercising, still painting the rental house(6 hours) today And will be all week. Good thing I actually really enjoy it for some reason lol.
I do miss my swimming laps at the pool And my stationery exercise bike which I will resume when the house is ready to rent out again. I love walking but it's far too cold here right now for that -30 -40 and is even colder with the wind chill. Where you ask ? Labrador city!
