John's Distance Challenges - monthly updates

I'll post my monthly distances in this thread, just to share with anyone who is interested. Feedback is always welcome. Friend requests are also welcome. If you're in this group, we're probably similarly minded.
I'm trying to keep my goal at 1000 miles, as the group name suggests, so I will tweak things for the first few months as necessary. Currently, the distances I'm counting are running, and stationary bike (divided by 5).
I also have a personal goal of running 1000km (621miles), but that too might change. I'm starting a 5 day a week schedule, so my distances will increase. I'll see how it looks after February.

Guess I didn't introduce myself in the OP...
I'm a 41 year old father of 2, southern Ontario, Canada. Currently 51+ lbs lost, with another 20 or so until maintenance.
I have been running just over 3 months, and I love it! I've been on MFP for 9 months. Want to know anything else, just ask.0 -
