Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes?
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day?

I just love the old cartoon characters from my youth. Here is what two of them would look like at some young artist's idea of what 66 looks like. From my biased point of view....those characters represent someone MUCH older than me.
Wow, we sure got old together.

Lol when I was 18 my best friend and I would tease his step dad about being old his mom actually married a much younger man he was 30 back then. A few years ago his dad goes to me Sue I believe your husband is older than me. I laughed and said what can I say at 18 I thought he was old too. ;)

All the schools are closed due to power outages . Winds got up to 80 + mph so a lot of places lost their roofs. Kind of looking forward to going to work to get the scoop on everything in town. We have a generator so we are good to go. I am also glad I don't have far to go. Once again I checked in with my folks but I have no clue if my daughter got in safe or not last night. She will be the death of me.
    Have a great day everyone!

:warning: Whoa @2020pinktogo watch out for flying debris!

Love the Pic @RangerRickL my mother is 69 and looks WAY better than that too! Although I do know some people who are younger than 66 and look like that, it really does depend on your lifestyle and how you take care of yourself or conversely how you DON'T take care of yourself!

Got some excellent sleep last night from about 9pm until 6 am this morning! Yesterday I was so drained mentally, emotionally and physically I must've REALLY needed it. Today the sun is out full force and it makes me so happy :sunglasses: after the last few days of grey, angry, luminous snow clouds running amok.

Going to see the tax man tonight. will hopefully have more energy at the end of the day to get in a better 20-30 minute workout!

    have a GREAT day MFPalz!

I loved Looney Tunes when I was a kid. I do admit I was more fond of Wile E, only because RR ALWAYS got the best of him. I'd watch with baited breath, hoping he'd finally get the prize. Well, this month we're all winners! Pathetic sounding, but true. We're making steps in a healthier direction...

I still love the old cartoons. Warner Bros., Disney, Mighty Mouse; Heckle and Jeckle; even Casper, the friendly ghost. That's why I like to use those images. It just makes me feel happy and nostalgic

Exercise? Yes; a 45 minute walk - I did lunges and squats throughout the walk. I'm nearly well enough for my usual workouts!

I'm feeling more well today than I have in the last week, so I'm hoping that I'm at the tail end of this illness.

My dad worked late today, so he had me take my mom out, as they usually have a date night on Thursday. My mom and I shared drinks and fries and had a fun time at a local bar playing bingo. A year ago, I would have taken much more advantage of the bar food. It is refreshing to go out, indulge a little, and still be conscious of what I'm consuming. A healthy lifestyle shouldn't limit living.
