Perhaps the Irish and the rest of the world will wait until next Friday, March 17, to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, but in Chicago....today was the DAY!
Millions of rowdies, revelers and leprechauns gathered in a cold of Chicago's winter to raise a toast to St. Patrick.

I have been putzing this morning we have snow. Enough that I have to deal with it. UGH oh well the people I feel bad for are the ones still without power. Unless they have another power or heat source those houses have to be freezing.0 -
Hope everyone is doing well! I've had a very busy month. That, coupled with lack of motivation, has caused me to lose track. I've used up so many pass days I should have a pass card laminated...LOL! I'm re-prioritizing and starting tomorrow, logging here to keep me accountable, event though I'm out of the running.

You can do it lamlam. I fell off track last month and this month I'm trying harder but life's hard and full of hurdles and viruses and work etc etc but it always will be so I've decided I have to push through even when I feel I have a good excuse.
Saying that, calories yes, tracking yes, exercise...erm I haven't left the house cos I can't stop coughing so minimal.
In my younger days , some of my funniest memories are from St Paddy's day. One year they were giving away free electric fiddles (violins)when you ordered your 6th Guinness at the bar. I thought I had untapped a secret ability to play the fiddle despite never havibhad a lesson and demonstrated to anyone and everyone. When I woke up with a sore head the next morning with the precious fiddle in my bed and a silly green hat on, I realised whichever string you played in whichever order it had 3 tunes it played by itself. Nothing to do with me. Oh .4 -

March has been a rough month for the UAC team...we lost a lot of friends along the way! @IamIam2013 Its good to see you back. How is the new addition to the family?
I am still recovering from a cold & sore throat. I've been able to do my daily walk, but not my usual cardio and strength exercises. I plan to try in the morning to do a cardio/strength workout.
Calories: ok

Thanks for the article and photo of the shenanigans. Everyone who wears green on St Paddy's is unofficially Irish that day, or so I've heard. I'll be wearing it, and hopefully eating some green as well. Natural or unnatural, as long as it fits into my cals. Everyone feel better!
