Good Morning,
TGIF!!!
Muscles screaming says one is out of shape. Friend at gym is having his other knee replaced this morning, he generally works out regularly but past two weeks he has been in gym every day. Has ice pack in freezer he grabs as he is leaving.
Steve, keeping Mom in prayer for improvement and complete healing with an active lifestyle.
Mike, how is DS progressing?
I'm beginning to believe back issues, aches and pains are tied to age but hoping I'm totally wrong.
Enjoy the Day,

Good Morning!
Well, mom is doing MUCH better. Thank you all for the prayer. She was shocked into normal sinus rhythm yesterday, and will likely go home today. She still has some hurdles, but things are looking well. Today is dad's 86th birthday. He is showing signs of dementia, and is becoming more of a worry.
I am very glad that today is Friday! Have a great day!1 -
I forgot! Dave, congratulations on the Duck's win! Making the Elite Eight is a big deal.
Now we cheer the Jayhawks on to a great victory over the Ducks on the road the Final Four. May the best bird win!0 -
Good Morning! Steve, glad to hear your Mom is improving. Another rainy day here and an afternoon of needles. I am starting a series of weekly trigger point injections to loosen the back tension. Thrilled.

Morning. Glad to hear that your Mom's doing okay, Steve.
Snowshoeing was nice yesterday, but hips and legs and ankles are sure complaining today. Hobbling around my condo this morning. We were in the woods 8 hours and the 4-1/2 miles seemed like 20. Been 2 years since I last snowshoed. Started off at 10° and windy, but we saw a pileated woodpecker, great blue heron, flocks of ducks and geese, an otter, and lots of beaver dams and lodges. Glad I went.0 -
•Steve glad mom is doing netter. Thanks for the kind words for the Ducks. Dave is from NW and I am from Oregon where DD graduated. Sadly DD was in ER and hospital during the game which was recorded at home. She will have gall bladder surgery today. At least the blockage of the bile duct explains her spike in liver bilirubin and pancreatitis.
Good .luck with injections Bill.0 -
Good morning gentlemen.
Not only am I from the northwest, I am a genuine Duck: class of '74. Kansas looks really good though. Anyway, hope springs eternal.0 -
Updates:
Mom's Afib has returned, so they are keeping her for the weekend. Nheo serious worries, per se, just observation. They will come up with a plan for her over the weekend.
I actually have ties to the Oregon State Beavers. My mom grew up on Corvallis, OR. Grandma and Grandpa both worked on the campus. Then, they retired to their farm in Lincoln City, OR. I have an aunt and uncle (mom's brother) that live in Waldport, OR. But, KU is in the blood. I worked for KU for 11 years in the late 70s, 80s. My wife has a BS & MS from KU, and my oldest son (deceased) has a BSE from KU.0
