Most of us have never been to Christchurch, New Zealand, so here is a photo of a downtown landmark. Hopefully, our new team mate, @aeshippers will feel welcome to the team!
Have a great day friends!!5 -
Thanks for the welcome. Unfortunately Christchurch doesn't look like that since the earthquake on Feb 22nd 2011 when the cathedral spire collapsed.A couple of other buildings in that picture have been demolished but the rebuild is well underway and the city centre will soon be better than ever.
My log for today
Exercise: I spent over 3 hours gardening today including at least 2 hours shoveling and barrowing compost.
Calories: Yes
Tracking: Yes - was making up a pot of fruit and yogurt to take to work tomorrow and realised that I always lick the spoon when I do that but have never logged it before.

Have a good day all4

So I am up and moving. I wrapped and packed my nephews Xmas ornaments. I know but this year's ornaments are very fragile so I am having my parents take them to my sister rather than mail them.Lol
I really need to make a list of everything I forgot yesterday. Hubby is ticked he ordered subs with onions but when they knew it was for me they did not put on onions as I am allergic to them. People like/love onions I am not going to deny him them I just stay clear of him.
I am very proud of myself I remembered yesterday to put on the new car registration on the first day of the month. I have had it for months just never put it on the car. Time to get moving.till later.5 -
I know, @2020pinktogo ! Those little things can be a tiny dark cloud hovering over your head. I try to do one thing a day I don't want to deal with.4

My 15 year old turned our kitchen into a mirror image of itself for April Fool's Day yesterday- i.e. he switched everything from one side of the counters or sink to the opposite side. I noticed quickly but the funny thing was that my husband did not. He noticed his phone and keys were on the opposite side but didn't pick up on EVERYTHING else: toaster, canisters, oranges, dishwand, dish drainer, vitamins, mail, etc. etc. Lots of laughs later when he did get it. Anyway, it was interesting to use the kitchen during the day with everything backwards. It really made my brain work because I kept turning or reaching the wrong way. Also, the whole thing pointed out the importance of being present in the moment. Yesterday, my brain got a new workout, today I go to the gym to lift weights and work out those muscles6

Lol That's so funny about the kitchen.
Does anyone remember the old Kodak booths you dropped off your film for development? Our town still has one except it's an ice cream stand now. One side is for walk up the other is you guessed it drive thru. It's 40 degrees out but people are in the drive thru as it just opened for the season. My daughter usually cons me into taking her for a soft cone during the summer. We get one a year. Now my parents I take out to ice cream more but I don't get any it's usually a con to get them to stop a project. Yes I am at the point of bribing. Lol4 -
@phoebelayla what a funny idea he had!
@aeshippers ah that's great that you think it will be even better. It was such sad news when it happened and it's amazing how quickly the news moves on to the next thing and we don't revisit what happened so it's also amazing to think that this much time has passed and he work's not finished.
@2020pinktogo another gloriously sunny day here sorry! I've had bare legs all weekend with no tights on. Hope the sun comes tour way soon.
Exercise:yes! Fitbit happy with me again. Lots of walking and gardening and my nearly 14month old has decided to try walking but likes to hold hands when she loses confidence so lots of slow walking with her but she's super fast in he park now with her little trolley walker of blocks to push.
Calories:yes
Tracking:yes
Hope everyone had a great day!

@am-change enjoy those slow walks with her wanting to hold your hand as soon enough they get too old for you. Not to worry I still have on my fleece and winter coat. I am waiting for my hubby to wake up so we can move all the tree limbs etc to the street. I know if I start without him I will put it in a spot he doesn't like. He has this grand idea he is going to chip it all, we have a huge pile he can chip I want all the stuff that blew down in the storm to go out to the street and be taken away by the town. We don't need a pile as big as the house as I know my husband he will never chip it. It will be something I'll have to deal with one day when he dies. My daughter rolls her eyes when my husband makes these grand ideas. LOL1

Hi Rick,
I posted yesterday in our hotel in Great Falls (so I thought). I know the internet wasn't working great so maybe that's why my post didn't work.2 -

@Dosse1320 Thanks for letting me know. Don't worry about it. Consider it as if it was done.
@karenleona and everyone, when you are truly ill, please just say so. I am an asthmatic. There are days that I cannot exercise, since I have trouble breathing. Most days, I am fine. When you are ill, just say so. This UAC is a personal honesty program.
