I have decided nobody can see my feet so even though the shoes don't match the outfit. I am wearing the red Mary Jane's . Maybe I will wear them all week and on the last day I will click my heels and hopefully be sent back to the main office.
My new dumbbells arrived. Ok I really need to work on my arms. Lol I bought the slimbells so you can put more together when you want more weight. Well the woman in the picture must have huge hands as I can only grip 2 at a time. My husband was laughing so hard. When I was demonstrating the weights and was like oh my I guess this is as far as I go. I still like the weights. Have a great day everyone !6 -
Happy Monday all
Exercise: Cycled to work today. Beautiful weather if a little chilly this morning.
Calories: No problem. Went to see a show this evening so (small) dinner was eaten at 4:30 before I cycled home from work and a supper snack when I got in at 11absolutely starving. Meant I didn't eat as much as usual this evening.

Well done with your planning ahead @aeshippers
It is so beautiful her right now with all the tulip and redbud trees and colorful flowers blooming everywhere you go. Going for a run this morning with my brother. Told my family I was really watching what I was eating, so I think that will help me get through this week of all these family meals and traveling about. I worked both days this weekend (they all went ski/snowboarding yesterday and said it was perfect conditions with all the new powder), and now I am on vacation all week. Yeah!7 -

Ah ha moment:
We had dinner at a meat-and-three where I had just a moment of struggling between the good nutritional choices and the gimmies. Good sense won and I I said no thank you to the eager server offering a corn muffin. "You only live once", she said. The truth of that statement really struck me. I knew right then and there that I didn't want to live my one life saddled with the physical and mental baggage of worthless corn muffins and all that it represents.7 -

I felt super tired today but I still managed to do an hour walk this morning. Just barely stayed under my calorie limit. Tracked everything. When I feel tired, I think if I eat I will feel better. It just doesn't work!! Early to bed tonight.4

@5cheetahs some do; some don't; some eat a percentage. I vary so long as my scale and belt line are giving me the same weight/width reading.

I was over my calories today2 -
@5cheetahs I only use if I really need to, but I would never put myself as over in calories if I did not use them.
Had a great day today, 35 minutes on a stationary bike and 60 minutes aquamotion. I am flying home(comox, BC) tomorrow so I will be back into my routine. Will miss my daughter and grand daughter but at the same time am looking forward to getting home!

Yes x 3.
Before I became a mum, I had a gym membership. Since, I can't afford one and wouldn't have anyone to look after my daughter anyway. It's been hard to shake my mindset of a real work out being in the gym or swimming. At the moment I do lots of walking and work out dvds/downloads. Lovely Uncle Rick used to tell me off when I'd check in and put "just walking" but I felt like I was cheating. Anyway, a few weeks ago I treated myself to a fitbit as my watch was broken anyway. And days like today show me that walking can count. Walking here and there today I clocked over 20,000 steps, nearly ten miles, climbed equivalent of 25 flights of stairs and had an elevated heart rate for over 2 hours. Just thought I'd put it out there if anyone else can't make it to the gym.6 -
@5cheetahs I tend to dip into my exercise calories, but I've only ever ate them all a few times. When I have high burn days, I definitely make sure to eat more and replenish some nutrients. I would just recommend the very general rule to do what your body tells you. If you are hungry and have exercise calories, eat them. If not, leave them.1
