Treadmill HR vs Charge 2 HR

When I walk on the treadmill, my fitbit shows my HR about 10-20 rates below what the treadmill says. But when it syncs to MFP it does give me more calories than what the treadmill said. Is this ok?

What shows up on MFP is NOT the workout-only calories.

It is the difference between what Fitbit reports as total daily burn, and what MFP estimated it would be with no exercise.

You could be more active but no exercise and get big adjustments.
You could have big exercise and more lazy and get no adjustments.

Regarding treadmill, rarely are they calibrated for distance correctly, and did it know your weight?
Treadmills don't use the HR for calorie calculations, they merely report it.
They use pace and weight. Same as Fitbit's that don't have HR-based calorie burn.

I am more concerned about the HR reading different than the calories. I did read on the fitbit support page that it might be too low on my wrist. I'm gonna adjust it tonight and see if it reads closer

Ahhh, to the calorie aspect first, it's still learning you in first 2 weeks at least.
Trying to figure out your restingHR and when exercise level starts.

So indeed the Fitbit calorie burn is probably inflated, even with inaccurate HR being seen, unless your treadmill didn't use your weight, in which case they usually assume 150 lbs, so it could be deflated depending on actual weight.

But indeed, many have problems with Fitbit reading HR accurately as it goes up. Resting up to 80 & 90's may be fine, at some point going up exercise level it loses it.
    Some just blank out.
