Good day today.
Started with a run, then took my daughter to the mall to meet her friends and for me to do some shopping. It's a weird feeling picking clothes from the rack that you know are now your size but you look at and can't believe you could fit in anything that small. I was constantly battling with myself not to take clothes into the changing room in my old size. Once home I fixed my bike puncture by myself as my husband is away all weekend and then took it for a short ride, so a pretty full day on the activity front. Also managed to track everything and stay under calories.
@RangerRickL Well done on your workout yesterday.5 -
Today is supposed to be a great day. Mom has me down to take her to the veggie guy. Lol I think it's becoming a weekly thing. One more day at the branch. A few of the women are devastated they were hoping I was staying. I said no I can't I wanted to say for my own sanity I need to leave but I was good. Yesterday a woman came back on a mission we shorted her. 6 hours later So they pulled up the transaction then had to count down the girls drawer. The woman said before she confronted a coworker for stealing she had to make sure it was not us.OMG she was brutal when she left I turned and gave the other teller a hug. I was like you did ok she goes I am shaking. The manager just looked at me. I don't care. By the way they had 3 dozen donuts and Easter baskets and cookies and I avoided the break room by walking. The seniors sit on a bench outside their building I walk around. A few were deciding I could walk their dogs. The seniors yell at me for eating and walking. Lol I laugh and say it's lunch and it's a protein bar not candy. So I do 10 /12 laps around the building. The other 2 women do 1 or 2 laps nope when I walk I walk lol. Have a great day everyone.6

@2020pinktogo - I'm sure I'll always be reminded of your branch drama stories, bring a knowing smile to my face, whenever I have a banking errand. Thanks for sharing!
It's a beautiful spring weekend here. Everyone enjoy this Easter season and give a choir member a hug. It's a very busy week!7 -
Hope everyone has a great day today! The sun is shining in the Comox Valley, B.C. we have not seen much of it lately so it is awesome! Getting ready for our big easter brunch tomorrow and need to keep reminding myself that I can do this. Lots of candy and chocolate around here as I make all my own bunnies, barks, spiced nuts, peanut brittle ect. Everyone has their favorites so today I just have to assemble the baskets. For the brunch tomorrow I will make sure I have enough stuff in my buffet that I can eat without feeling deprived. I CAN DO THIS!
@aeshippers it must be an awesome feeling to fit into clothes you never thought possible. I do know what it feels like to still look at bigger clothes though as I have done that too. What an awesome day you had! You must feel very proud of yourself! (if not you should....lol)
@2020pinktogo You are amazing! Way to show empathy for the teller, I can not imagine as a manager not supporting my employees, so good for you for doing what the manager should have been doing! I am so glad you only have the one day left, I can understand why some hate to see you go as you are most likely are a breath of fresh air for them. Keep up your positive energy as attitude is everything. I always remember something someone told me many years ago.

I love all the stories today and the inspiration as well! So glad to be part of this group. This is our last day in Santa Cruz and we have been having such a fun and relaxing time. I'm doing well not making it about the food. More later.4

I put away the turtlenecks and pulled out the spring clothes. This is a big thing for me as I live in turtlenecks for many reasons. 1: I run cold 2: I get hives when I am stressed. No one has had a clue as I have been wearing them pretty much nonstop since I got hired. Well I figured they know things were bad at the branch they may as well see me break out in hives if they mention me going back to help.
So I packed away all the so called winter clothes. I got the laundry done took my parents out for a walk. They were setting up for an Easter egg hunt one of the guys teased if I was coming I laughed and asked if they had a category 4 my parents. If they did Could you imagine senior citizens on the hunt my Dad is very aggressive we would probably get kicked out. Lol
We have had some spotty showers today. As long as the temperatures keep going up. I won't complain. It will be nice to have warm weather and not have to worry about boots and coats. Hopefully soon.5 -

I am so thankful I stayed under my calories today. I had to work this morning, and then hubby and I traveled to Chicago where we are having a religious sign-language assembly tomorrow. I didn't eat breakfast (I usually do). We had out date meal, actually meals, today, and I was stayed under! I'm hoping tomorrow is the same. It will be a challenge to get my exercise in, but I'll make sure to get some walking in.5 -
@IamIam2013 Welcome to Chicago! I hope your service goes very well.
I traveled down to help my Mom and step-Dad again. I usually go over during every visit to my Mom's. Not today. It was 4 hours of driving to her house. 4 hours of time with them and then 4 hours back.
Calories: just under the limit
Walked for 20 minutes outside. Nice day
Tracking: kept me safe. Without tracking, I would have cheated4 -
Whew. Just made it on all 3 today by avoiding the pie for dinner!! Huge salad a small piece of roast with veggies4

Yes x 3.
Getting a yes for calories meant saying no lots of times to my mother in law who is with us who hates to hear it. No to wine at lunch. No to wine in the evening, well she started at 5.30 if you call that evening. No to a starter with lunch. No to a dessert with lunch. No to cake, ice cream anything in the cafe she insisted we went to even though we'd been out for lunch. No no no no no. And I'm not touching the giant egg she got me. I politely said thank you to when I had previously said I wouldn't want one. Now I might sound ungrateful at this point. So I'll point out that my mother in law is always counting calories. She pushes others to eat although (apart from the wine) she also won't have eaten any of these things she pushes which makes it doubly infuriating as she should underatand but instead she sulks. She also comments on everyone's weight and appearance when she's telling me about them e.g. I saw so and so and wow she's piled on a few pounds. Wow. Rant over and I never meant it to be one but once I started I couldn't stop. I'm so pleased I said no. Thanks @2020pinktogo !2 -

Rick- well done. Tracking keeps us honest!
Lamlam2013. Good job staying under. It is harder away from home
Well done everyone who is trying their best. We will get to our goals!4 -
@am_change LOL I have noticed that there are certain pushers in the world. The aww come join us because you are the thinnest and they feel guilty eating in front of you. 2 Then there is those that always want to be the best so they do anything to knock you down. I will admit it's wasteful but I have tossed in law items. I may have even thought of them and tossed it. It always makes me feel powerful.I think my husband let it slip what I was doing candy and cookies come in his name only. No box for me. Lol2

Pass Day #3
I've hit a bit of a rut lately. I'm still losing weight, but I haven't been staying very accountable. This happens every so often, and I come back out of it, but it's discouraging. The gym will not be open on Easter, so I plan to get back to it on Monday. I hope everyone has a nice holiday weekend!4 -
