It's mid-month, April, 2017. Let's share some Non-Scale Victories!!5 -
My non-scale victory is that even though my wife and I are 66, we can still hike, play outdoors with our grandchildren and have the energy to enjoy an active life.

A lovely idea Rick and what an inspiring NSV
I'm going to lower the tone and be a little more vain. Following my shopping expedition on Saturday I am now consistently in a NZ size 10 (US 6 I think) and have gone down to a D cup bra. This is smaller than I was even as a teenager.
Still got no voice today but am otherwise feeling better so went for a walk and did a short stint on the exercise bike. Calories and tracking both good.6 -
NSV I made it through my last day at the branch without a diet coke LOL
Yippy Skippy I am back to the main office today. Though I must admit I let Carole at the branch convince me to swap Saturday shifts with her. Her daughter is getting married and the florist rescheduled their apt. Nobody would do it I was like no big deal put the switch in. It's amazing how relaxed I feel going back to the main office. Have a great day everyone!!6 -
Hooray @2020pinktogo! Glad you are back "home."
@RangerRickL I did about ten min of jump rope intervals yesterday and it was pretty fun!!! I don't have a good jump rope though- it is really light weight, and is too long. I had to wrap the ends up and keep readjusting it. Messed up a few times and whacked myself with the cord. Owww! I'm sure it had nothing to do with my coordination level! My left knee was bugging me later so gotta be careful. But, I think I got the jump rope bug and will look around for a better one.6 -
off to a good start today. Great words of advice to remember each day Rick.
Not sure how i am going to get much exercise today as i will be in the car for about 4 hrs!!
Will figure something out6 -
NSV- I am off the sugar train. No sugar or junk for three weeks and a day. Body feels better and the cravings are gone. Not saying I won't have anymore treats, of course, but it feels awesome to get out of the cycle I was in of eating too much junk.7

I love hearing everyone's NSVs!!
Today, I discovered that I can do headstand toe touches, where you do a headstand and slowly lower your legs to touch your toes to the floor and then raise them back up! I have always looked-up to people that could do this, so I was thrilled to learn that my extra ab workouts have allowed me to do this as well.7 -
WOW! What great NSV's everyone! mmmm.............mine would be that I am eating very healthy and I can finally say I have made a lifestyle change instead of I am on a diet. This is a big victory for me as my husband has been telling me for years that your diet is simply what you eat period, he would NEVER tell someone he was on a diet. I finally realized what he was saying. I feel so blessed to have found My fitness pal and especially this group as the support and caring we show to each other is incredible.............thank you everyone for sharing my journey with me. Also for your support with my lifestyle change!
@2020pinktogo so glad you are back to your home turf!
@RangerRickL I hope when I am 66 I can do the same...lol....actually I am hoping I will after my back surgery. I used to love hiking and marathon walking a few years ago I did a 1/2 marathon, a full marathon and an extreme one(65 K's with 20 of it climbing a mountain....lol...don't think I will be doing to that extreme again but it would be so nice to be able to do 5-10k's(3-6miles).
@everyone GREAT JOB!

Tracking? Yes

NSV: last summer's clothes and flip flops are too big!6 -
You are all so inspiring! I have my jump rope ready for the morning warm up before yoga. I like the head stand idea, but I'm still working on the balance. I especially like the idea of giving up sweets entirely for a long spell. I could do that. Hmmm...
My latest NSV is trying to squeeze more into the day. Today, instead of getting a ride or waiting in a chair for my car to be repaired I spent the time walking. I had shoes and a change of clothes and walked up and down and around a nearby hilly area for an hour.
Today - Yes X 3 - morning swim, noon walk.6 -

A great day. 15,000 steps, stayed within my calorie limit( just) and tracked everything. ⭐️
NSV: I am 59 years old and my husband is 61. Healthy eating and staying active is our top priority. We both play pickle ball and walk most days. We babysit our 3 young grandchildren a few times per week. My husband is super active which makes me very happy.3 -
It is so delightful to read your NSV reports!!!
Today, on my way home from work, I suddenly remembered that I forgot to bring home my lunch bag. Then, I realized that I had forgotten to eat lunch.
I seldom miss a meal.

@RangerRickL...yep, your feet shrink when you lose weight...not so much the length but puffy, fatty part on top disappears (instep?). I can't keep the flips on as they are too loose.2
