@mari_moulin Easter was the same for most of us, I think. But we soon get back to basics! Bravo on losing most of that gain! We are all here for each other! Lol!
@2020pinktogo There's a bit of Bridget Riley in most women! Lol! I have always preferred big pants! Much more comfortable than g-strings and the like! I like lace ones! But the racing stripes sound fun! I'm sure your gran loves them!!!
@carlsoda Well done on the weight loss. I hope you enjoyed your busy day and got lots accomplished!
@fitphoenix We've all done that. I now keep posting and editing as I go, so that I only lose the last comment. I also have a box of positive affirmation cards that I dip into. I have a few sets that people have gifted to me, and I print out my own on card. When they get scruffy I just do a new sheet.
@danelutza19 I can relate to that pre midnight workout! I sometimes have rush to top up my steps before the clock strikes midnight! I hope you got to go roller skating and had fun. I used to do roller and ice skating. Haven't done either for a while though.
I'm pleased to say that the Easter excess baggage is going. It's easy come, but not so easy going, but I'll stick at it. I had a nice me day yesterday as hubby was off bird-watching with some friends. I did a little retail therapy, and have ordered a new digital scale. Today we will visit with DED and DGSs. DGD has returned to Cambridge. She was only home for a week, but they all came and stayed with me for 2 days over Easter, so we spent lots of time together.
Have a Blessed Sunday!

@TerriRichardson112 sounds like you've had a lovely weekend, we also did some retail therapy, my sister in law needed new maternity trousers and I wanted a dress for a wedding, however my boob to hip ratio is too big for dresses, so will have to go to pepperberry sometime. It's very annoying how much quicker weight goes on than comes off but great job on getting there!
Chilling today and knitting baby cocoons, my SIL is determined to learn to knit something for the baby, so I guessed this would be probably the best option.
Hope everyone has an awesome day!2 -
@TerriRichardson112 such a lovely first comment to come on here and see :-)
I love how positive you all are, keeping me going and making we refocus on my goals!
@catvlmack sounds like a lovely way to spend a Sunday. My Dad taught me how to knit when I was little and I have loved it ever since!
I hope you're having a lovely Sunday! We've had family down this weekend so my food has not been very monitored :-/ Tomorrow is a fresh start!
Today's Goals:
Go for a walk
Prep lunches for tomorrow
Drink 8 glasses of water
Prep portfolio for Tuesday2 -
@catvlmack I have always envied those that can knit and or crochet. I have tried but my work always revealed how I was feeling. It varied greatly from super tight to very loose. The lady that was teaching me uses it as her show and tell piece. She goes no I had her take up physical activity to release her tension. I lost my boobs last. The dress thing try on everything. What I always loved to wear does not look good on. Things I think I don't think so. I put on and look great. I also people watch and if I see someone with the same body shape wearing something that looks great that I would not normally try. I will try it just to see.
I just need to run errands today some for me and some for mom.
Increase my water intake.
Do some chores go for a walk.2 -

Well done to you all on all your goals and those NSV's. The recovery from Easter has been a chore for us all it seams.
I also had TOM to recover from. I had it in the bag until yesterdays lazy day. NO activity and TOO much food. BUT today is my make up day. Then come Tomorrow I start my new routine.1) Keep within my calorie goal 5/7 Days

Good morning flowers!!!
@TerriRichardson112 I may be superstitious but whenever you start a daily thread it's a great day. Your positive energy is so appreciated ❤️
@MonicaA2013 it's been great to have you back! As for Easter gain, we are all fighting the same battle and somehow it feels better doing it together. You will do great once you're back to your routine!
Yesterday I had a change of plans. It was a beautiful Spring day and we went to a park by the lake, walked around, played and had a great time. My daughter got to feed ducks As far as goals, things were pretty perfect until the evening when the snacks got the best of me. Some popcorn and a serving or two of dried cereal managed to give me a little setback. I'm a little upset.... but sometimes taking a step back gives me the energy to leap forward.
Today's plan is to actually stay within calories/macros, chin-ups, steps, water and lots of rest. The day should be pretty active since we are actually going roller skating I'm hoping to be fresh for ready for next week.
Let's have a fabulous Sunday!!!1 -
@danelutza19, it sounds like you guys had an awesome time at the park! It was a bit chilly, rainy, and overcast for us yesterday (though it's nice today). Glad eating went mostly well, and I hope you enjoyed the snacks. Today is a new day! Hope the roller skating is awesome!
It sounds like good weekends for many of us, which is awesome! Yesterday, I had my writing group, and it was nice to get some writing done and chat with the group, as it has been several weeks since I saw most of them. Today, I did an extra load of laundry, vacuumed and dusted, did some meal prep, and basically got everything ready for heading into the next couple of weeks at work, which are going to be busy ones (training of new staff, end of our fiscal year, transition to our summer operations, testing of a software upgrade, wrapping up a strategic plan document, etc., etc.) I want to get as many things organised as I can so that I'll still have time to take care of my eating and exercise!0 -
Ok ready for the week. Made mason jar salads for the week. My clothes are out and ready. Went to the farmers market got my spring veg for the week and fresh strawberries. Goals is to workout at least 4 times, drink my water and track my food. Only 5 more weeks of school till summer break. I can do this.
