@jdelaroy nowt wrong with a good whinge! I'm sure it burns calories, those pounds are lies and will soon drop off.
@MonicaA2013 likewise those pounds are a lie! Enjoy your workout
@skipper111 hmm so okay I think I need to see a pic of the bunny! So glad she's okay though. Well done on the run, great for bunny related stress!
Yeah so yesterday didn't quite go to plan. Hubby and I sat and watched supernatural all day, I was knitting though, which technically burns calories. Today is gymnastics so a lot more running around yay! Have a fab one everybody!0 -
@Skipper111 okay I am clueless what makes this a 3 day weekend for the UK.
@catvlmack I am going to have to Google supernatural. I married an older man he may sit and watch westerners all day. I can barely get through one. I am not a tv person. Lol
Had a rough day with sinus headaches/ migraines all night. I have been doing everything to try and release the pressure. Especially since today I am the person who is doing large deposits and then I rotate out to do breaks and lunches/ suppers. It's going to be a very long day.
I got outside yesterday to the park. Hopefully I can do the same today. They made a rule about we can wear sandals now and Fridays we can wear capris. I think I am more of a skirt person than a capris person.0 -
@catvlmack I LOVE Supernatural. Though I am so out of touch with it at the moment. Nice bit of eye candy too ;-) Enjoy your Friday!!!
@2020pinktogo Monday is May Day so it is a Bank Holiday!!! (please tell me I have not got this wrong. I have a bike ride and Prosecco picnic planned ;-) )
Bless you, my mother in law really suffers with migraines and it completely wipes her out mentally and physically. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
So this is Loppy - our psychotic House Bunny. Excuse the mess in 2nd picture. She went into teenage meltdown when I served her dinner 3 minutes late!!!!

@catvlmack Sometimes you just need a day to relax. Hope today is a great day for you.
@skipper111 Your bunny is too cute. Glad they are okay. Enjoy your long weekend.
@2020pinktogo Ugh, I hate when you can't sleep well. Here is to a quiet, uneventful day and feeling better.
My day yesterday started off rough food wise. It started with a handful of Reeses Peanut butter cups. (Miniature in size.) I refused to go over calories yesterday. So that was my breakfast. The rest of the day though rocked. I went roller skating twice, and didn't eat the hot dog and chips special they had. Instead I had a grilled chicken sandwich from McDonald's. No sauce, half a bun, and a fruit parfait. My feet now have blisters on both of them, and my hips and knee are yelling at me. I was 140 calories down before I added in the skating. I even said no to the BF's chocolate shake. Go me Now lets do day two. Hoping to string together a few successful days, get back in the habit.
Yesterday's Goals:
Stay under Calories!!!!!!!
80 ounces of water
3 hours of roller skating. (going to 2 skate sessions today. Total of 4.5 hours.) Did 215 minutes.
25000 steps (Fit-bit counts my skating as steps.) I rocked this with 36000 steps!
Focus at work! Got everything on my to do list done.
Do not snap at people
Stay positive.
Wow a 100% completion of goals
Today's Goals:
Stay under calories!!!!!
80 ounces of water
12500 steps Stretch for 15000
Focus at work
Finish Hogwarts challenge
I think a simple Friday would be good.
Have a great day flowers!1 -
@jdelaroy - great job getting back on track. I always have problems doing that! Your day was great!!!
@skipper111 - love your bunny! So cute!
Yesterday started out well then went downhill, but today is another day and on track! I'm buying lunch today so I'm already trying to plan something healthy!!
Update on this week:
Logging! 3/7
Water, water, water 4/7
10,000 + steps per day 4/7
Yoga (at least 6 times this week) 3/7
Net carbs 40 or under 1/7
I've already started thinking of my May goals and writing them down! Love a new month, especially one that starts on a Monday0 -
Hi all! Hoping everyone's doing well, so excited the weekend's here and it's almost the first of the month, that means grocery shopping for me! Been working on my list for the next couple weeks meals.
Wednesday afternoon was horrible, I binged like a mad person until I went to bed, but yesterday I managed to recover. I completed all my usual goals and weighed in this morning at 144, that's 2 lbs. down from my original 146. I'm feeling confident as I'm following a new meal plan and am working on my mindset for the next 10 days. I know I'm going to see the 130's very soon!
I'm going to log my food, take my vitamins, drink my water, get in my 30 minutes of exercise & 10,000 steps, read and journal every day. I'm going to lose weight this weekend. I'm coming for you 139!
Have a great weekend everyone!1 -
@RejsGirl nice work on the quick recovery and refocus. You go after that 139, you got it.
I managed to come in under calories but just barely, but that's two days in a row after a 2 week serious side rail. But I can feel my focus getting stronger so I am on the right track.
Today's goals:
cardio - 30 mins done
stay on track at work - slow down the snacking
spend some time outside in the long awaited sunshine
work on making my weekend plan so I don't gain anymore
10,000 steps0 -
Morning,
@Kenda2427, nice job on making your goals! My biggest downfall is snacks too. Take one day at a time, YOU have this!
Yesterday, was a struggle for meeting my goals but I did it, yesss! My allergies are really going wild so last night I had a sinus headache, Today's goals are just to stay focus and staying under my calorie goal. I'm hoping since the weather should be nice so we're going to try to get a walk in!
Today's goals
1. Morning workout
2. Night Bedtime yoga
3. Healthy food choices
4. Outside walk
Let's make this happen!0 -
@GrandmaJackie: Good job meeting your goals! I hear ya about allergies!
I am doing great with my eating goals. I should have gone for a run today, but did my makeup & hair for work instead. There is only soooo much time in a my day. I will do better next week. I am not sleeping well, so all of my energy is going to work.
Today's goals:
-hit macros/calories
-work 5 hrs
-go to bed early
Goals for the week:
-run 20 km (9/20)
-hit calorie goal daily (4/7)
-no alcohol (4/6)
-hit protein & carb macros daily (4/6)
-work at least 28hrs (18/28)
-do 15 minutes of house/yard work (1/7) I just don't feel like cleaning after work!0 -
Good morning flowers!!
@GrandmaJackie nice job hitting your goals despite the allergy flare up. Your effort is showing
Yesterday was 90% accomplished. I had a lazy first part of the day, didn't go for the usual walk and then it was to late to play catchup with my steps. Other than that everything worked out. I'm fine with a little imperfection as long as its singular and it doesn't turn into a trend. Must do better today!
Today should be interesting scheduling wise but the goals are the same: eat within calories/macros, training, chin-ups, steps, water and good sleep.
Let's have a fabulous Friday!!!0 -
Hey everyone!!
Yesterday was nice I did my normal workout and went for a nice easy hike later that day. I also went to the mall and did a lot of walking. I figured it was ok to splurge a little and have ice cream! Only one scoop though! It's all about a healthy balance lifestyle after all!
Today is going well so far. Been busy at work and someone brought in cupcakes and I turned it down! First time ever I was able to turn down free cupcakes lol. In about a hour I'm going to hit the gym and then go home.
Hope everyone is having a great day!0 -
Glad your day is going well so far, @ariel1116! Congrats on blasting your way towards your goals.
I'm glad we've made it to the end of this week! We're gearing up for a transition at work to our summer processes, and I've been getting pulled in for more and more involvement in it without a lot of warning. So I've been putting in a fair amount of extra hours but have now made it through the first of two days of training, and it went quite well overall. I might have to work on Sunday, but don't know for sure yet. I'll be glad when I make it to Tuesday!0 -
