Wow, Good morning folks. Where are all our earlier risers this morning.

@danelutza19 You always do so well, I am impressed.

I had an okay day, hit most of my goals. Dinner was lousy though. The BF was supposed to BBQ last night, well he forgot to take the meat out of the freezer. So we decided on McDonald's. I went and picked it up for everyone and had the worst experience ever, then when I got home I was missing 3 items. I ended up with a grilled chicken plain no bun, and a banana. That evening the BF taunted me (He was teasing, but it was pissing me off.) with gummy bears, and ice cream. I wanted some so bad, but I did say no. We ended up fighting well into the morning on this. So I am functioning on about 2 hours of sleep. Ugh! Here is to hoping I can make it through the day.

Yesterday's Goals:
Under Calories!!! :)
12500 Steps :p
Gym Time :| Decided I needed a rest
Squat Challenge B)
Finish Hogwarts stuff B)
Stay positive :|
Focus at work :)
Don't eat my emotions (This is going to be very hard.) :# For the most part

Today's Goals:
Under calories +100 7k To walk on Saturday
Water, Water
15000 steps
Finish Work Stuff
Emails
List for weekend
Store
No Sugar
** Roller Skating** If we aren't too tired to go.

@Lilymay2 sounds like a much needed recovery day with that workout.

Didn't do so great yesterday, so very tired and made some poor choices.

However on the up side, the weather was gorgeous and took the opportunity to spend time with my favorite horse. He has decided he loves being brushed now. Then I heard the frogs singing down at the end of the road, one of my favourite sounds. I put a lead line on him and away we went. It was the most peaceful time, the sun was setting and the pasture had lots of cows and little calves, froggies were singing, mallards were paddling around and I watched a muskrat swim to the edge of the pond and climb up on a stick and watch us. The horse found some fresh green grass poking through so he was munching away on that. I felt like I was in paradise and was so blessed. So despite my poor choices of the day and feeling rather down on myself for that, the day ended on a very blissful note. <3

This morning started just as nicely, all the horses were laying down sleeping but the pony was sleeping on the loose hay by the feeder. I went over and sat with him and he put his head on my shoulder till he was ready to get up. That is a rarity.

So with those positive and blessed moments to ground me I am ready to start the day on the right note.

    Today's goals:
    stay under calories
    eat to plan
    hot yoga
    walk at lunch time
    water
remember to take time to enjoy the small things

    Have a wonderful day everyone!

@Kenda2427 sounds truly lovely. You're so fortunate to live a life with horses, they're such amazing animals.

Yesterday was a great day. A couple times I had to catch myself from eating on auto-pilot. I managed to reel myself in and control my urges and eat according to plan. I'm still not journaling on a regular basis but everything else is going according to plan!

    Today's goals are:

    1. Eat according to plan and log everything.
    2. Exercise at least 30 minutes, 10-12,000 steps
    3. Drink 6-8 glasses of water
    4. Take vitamins
    5. Read a chapter in my motivational book

Hope you all have a wonderful Thursday!

Still chugging along! Trying to get rid of the weight I gained this weekend from the bbq. I've been incorporating a lot of lifting this week. I never was a big lifter. I would only lift about 10 mins after my cardio but I've been lifting for about a hour each day this week. I'm really sore today so I'm just focusing on extra cardio today.

Hi all! I am back, sorry I've been so absent. First work was crazy (calmed down a bit, although still higher), then I had a work trip to Mexico last week. The trip to Mexico was good, but also very busy 16 hour days. I ate too much in Mexico (sooooo good) so I am up a bit, but I am working my way back down.

Mexico was fun because we visited an institute/university where I have people I work with that I haven't seen in a while and they were all like "you look amazing" so that was nice.

    Blah, meeting, more later.

    DAY 18:

Hello everyone and May the Fourth be with you all! Thank you for all the kind messages on Monday. I hate that I am on here complaining all the time. I have been going to the gym and drinking all my water and although my intake has NOT been perfect it has improved from last week. I hope I continue this way and that the dark clouds stay at bay.

@astroamy - Oh man its hard for me when I go to mexico too. There is way too much amazing food at every corner. SO nice of your co workers to notice the difference. Such an awesome NSV!

    Good morning flowers!!!!

@astroamy I know you're busy but your life sounds interesting and how cool that you got to go to Mexico.
I know most people prefer not to be so busy IRL to focus on the weight loss journey but the truth is that if you take some time and make an eating plan, you will have a better chance sticking to your goals when you're busy. It works because our brains like things to be effortless.... since you're busy and already decided what the meals will be, it's simpler to just follow the plan than to spend time making new decisions. Weight loss doesn't require any kind of concentration or effort on our part, the only thing we have to do is eat in a calorie deficit. The less we think about it, the better!!!

I am seriously trying really hard to implement the above statement. The less I think about it, the better!!! No emotions attached, no extra fuss, just eat what I planned and focus on other stuff: my body will do the rest.

Big check mark for yesterday. I had my fist meal around 6 pm and my last one shortly before midnight. Take that late night cravings!!! Training was really nice too.

Today's goals are nice and simple: eat within calories/macros, train, do chin-ups, steps, water and sleep. Less thinking, just doing.

    Let's have a fabulous Thursday!!!

Thanks @mari_moulin , I know, I discovered fresh mango with chili and lime, OMG, so good. I think the chilaquiles did me in though.

@danelutza19 my work is pretty interesting, but all the traveling is kinda getting old. I have another trip the end of this month (Puerto Rico) then one in July, October and November. Next year won't be so much traveling. I like being somewhat busy and dieting, not the least because it distracts me from my hunger. But in the couple weeks before the Mexico trip I was working evenings and weekends, so couldn't exercise as much and I was starting to slip foodwise because of the stress. Now the busyness is much more manageable.

Thank you all for being encouraging. So nice to see people still chugging on. I'll get there, we'll all get there, just need to keep going.

OK my plan for the rest of the week:
Exercise: run today, lots of walking tomorrow, strength training on Saturday, cycling
    Sunday.
Food: Keep the calories under ~1600; sodium under 2000mg; 100oz water a day
Life: Early to bed and some down time this weekend.

@astroamy : Talking about Mexico, I am now dreaming of the coconut & lime ice cream that I had in Mexico.. yum... I haven't found that combination of ice cream any where else!

Today has been good so far, I guess. I woke up at 3am, so I was not as productive as yesterday. I got most things done & I am slowly cleaning up my husbands disorganization/messiness. It is a very very very rainy cold day, so I have a reprieve before the pool season starts. I will have it all ready for next weekend for sure.

No exercise for me this week, but I have been very careful with my food. I hope that I will start weight lifting next week, in the morning before work.

    Have a great evening everyone!

This morning person was off having blood work. Then had no internet till just a few minutes ago.
Mom has an issue with her carotic artery. Has to see a specialist but is home. Grandma's still at the hospital. I think I am just having a rebound from everything as I am feeling exhausted so early to bed for me.

We still have a lot of rain and areas of flooding they are talking about snow. :/ I may just have to pull out a winter outfit. LOL
