Went over to mom and dad's yesterday with these tiny pastry hearts from the deli. Okay I did not notice there was an odd number in the container. I thought oh look mom and dad like these. Mom said she got 3 as they were her get well gift but dad could pick his 2 . He picked the 2 biggest ones .
Today is my long day I am taking things day by day till we get a date for mom's surgery. My parents feel it will be soon. I guess we will see.3 -
PS still raining here loads of flooding. Mom finally gave me permission to tell my daughter about her. It took me 5 hours to reach her before I finally reached out to the boyfriend to have her call me. It's amazing how back in the day before every one was attached to a phone I think it was easier to actually reach people.2

It's been a long week at work this week and I've been feeling it today. The weather was beautiful though, hardly a cloud in the sky most of the day so in addition to my cycling I went for a walk at lunch to make the most of the sunshine. This time of year I'm cycling at dawn and dusk so not seeing much of the sun that way.
By the time I got home I was pretty tired so cooked a simple tea and curled up on the sofa to doze in front of the rugby.
Tracking was good and calories under. I was a bit concerned about my calories earlier as I've been really hungry today but I managed to end up more than 200 under
Weather is looking good all weekend too so will spend some time outside however will also be spending some of the weekend being mum's taxi for my younger daughter as she has school events both days. Sometimes you wonder why you encourage them to take part in all the extra-curricular activities3 -
@aeshippers me too I am giving dad the weekend off and being mom's taxi. So tonight I have to get my chores done so I can get everything done for them this weekend. My uncle is leaving so I will have to taxi mom to the hospital to visit grandma. We have set limits because I told her she has to be in top shape for her surgery. Plus I am hoping it at least dries up a little at their house so I can help dad with the lawn. We shall see I make sure I am home before dark so I am in bed early.2

HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE! WEIGH IN DAY FOR ME AND i AM DOWN .7 OF A POUND, NEW TOTAL 21LBS! I have finally accepted that even though I have a LOT of weight to lose(at least another 50lbs) it is going to come off slow. Thinking positive and looking forward to the day I can get off some of these meds and hopefully the weight loss will be easier. I keep focussing on the fact that I am 21 pounds lighter as I know I would have continued to gain weight while on these meds! WOOHOO I AM WINNING THAT BATTLE..LOL
@2020pinktogo YOU really have your hands full right now. In all of your comments I have not seen anything you are going to do for you. Hope everyone recovers but I am worrying about YOU! Remember to take time for YOU!
@aeshippers I know how exactly how you feel, both my boys we very active in sports, every season there was something EVERY day and we were on the go all the time, each weekend travelling to tournaments ect. They were both on rep teams for basketball, volleyball, track and baseball....Believe it or not it seems so hectic while you are doing it but I missed it so much when they graduated and went on to other things. I did not realize how much I loved the craziness. So enjoy while you can. Hope everything works out with you extra work load, sounds like you have it covered! You are an inspiration to me!
@RangerRickL Looking great! My husband and I loved Redondo beach. I would walk the trail along the beach, it seems to go on forever!

Even if it takes another year or more to lose the next 50, you are setting up the habits to keep it off for life. This is the most important thing.
If you are doing this while taking insulin (for type 2 diabetes), I double applaud you. Getting off insulin will make losing weight MUCH easier (give insulin to a normal healthy person they usually gain weight AND show signs of becoming type 2 diabetic).
Keep going. Keep up the great work. There are many here to support you.

Today really pushed me to my max and I tried to make the best of it. Luckily I did half an hour of exercise, logged everything, went out and drank water and some food but I'm under my calorie goal. THANK GOD!!! TOMORROW I'M BACK ON TRACK4

Got over 7500 steps today but 100 over on calories. It is hard on nights cause I have a light meal around 3 them if I stay up all day I have 3 more meals. But I logged it and tomorrow will be better. Going to bed now cause I am super tired.2

@karenleona must be hard working shift work and staying focussed on a healthy lifestyle, sounds like that would need a lot of planning and prep.
