Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes?
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day?

A cool and blustery day along the harbor at Redondo Beach, CA
It was a very brisk and windy day for an exercise walk beside the sea

Been a hectic day today so just caught up on everybody's posts for yesterday and it sounds like most of us are going really well. Congratulations to all of you who pushed through tough days yesterday.
Exercise? Yes - 34 minute run first thing, 25 minute walk while waiting to pick up my daughter from school and an hour of heavy gardening when I got home. By the time I'd finished cooking dinner my back was really sore but did a little stretching and it's fine now.
    Tracking? Yes
Calories? Way under as I was so busy I didn't eat as much as usual during the day. Might be a tough day tomorrow for being hungry.

GOOD SUNDAY MORNING EVERYONE :p The sun is shining and it is going to be a GREAT day. Have some housework to do then I will be in and out of the house the rest of the day(as one chore is laundry..lol..but good exercise going in and out..lol) Off to my stationary bike right now.....Hope everyone else has a GREAT day as well :)

@RangerRickL , love the pictures.....how long are you in Redondo beach?
@aeshippers sounds like you had another very busy day. Do you find gardening therapeutic or another chore(I love the results but find the weeding ect. a chore...I always say the only thing I hate more than weeds is having to pull them.. :p

Got up and did 3 miles right away. Then went over to mom's hospital called and I took mom there to spend time with grandma. They say it will be only a few more days they are going to try and make things better for her. My siblings are like are you taking care of mom. Okay how do tell your mother they can't be with their mother in their last days. I am doing the best I can and just keeping everyone happy.

    Exercise? Yes/20 minute dog walk
    Within calories? Yes
    Tracking? Yes

@2020pinktogo...hang in there as I know it is tough. Siblings will always be critical because they are not the ones dong the heavy lifting. Your mom's place is with her mother like you would want to be with her and your daughter would want to be with you.

I've been posting a day behind lately, as I've been very busy. I wanted to share, however, that I hit my June weight goal early/ the goal that I have been dreaming of reaching for years now. I am under 150 lbs, and have lost about 45 lbs since my highest weight; 25 lbs since joining this group. Thank you all so much for supporting and inspiring me everyday!! Your participation in these challenges have helped me tremendously! My journey is not over, but I'm celebrating how far that I've come :)

Exercise? Yes; 56 minutes of strength training, a 15 minute run, and a 70 minute hike + light swimming later in the day
    Calories? Yes
    Tracking? Yes

@pears734 CONGRATULATIONS! :o YOU ARE AMAZING! You must be over the moon! Not sure what your exact goal is but what a MILESTONE! I am cheering with you!
@IamIam2013 Glad to see you still checking in! You can turn this month around. Might be too late to make the winners circle but doesn't mean you still can't be a winner by setting a personal goal. YOU CAN DO THIS!
@fightingthetideofaging What a great exercise day!
@SimonsChange sounds like you had a very busy, energetic, successful day!
@fitqueenbess @joverw50 @lovesretirement looks like you all had a good day too! :p

    calories yes
    tracking absolutely

@2020pinktogo Hang in there, and keep doing what YOU think is right with your Mom. Sounds like your heart is in the right place. You are doing an amazing job! :)

    @pears734 Wow! Congratulations!
@pribud I fly home on Monday
@2020pinktogo In my experience as an attorney for aging and dying people, the adult children who are not present, are unrealistic critics of the adult child who carries all of the caregiving burdens. I'm sorry you have such a difficult path to walk at this time

@pears734 congratulations, you are doing really well. Just shows that you don't have to make the winner's circle to get results, just have to keep doing your best :)
@2020pinktogo sorry that this is such a difficult time for you, I hope things get easier soon. In my opinion the absent siblings have no right to criticise the one who is there. I am the absent child, having moved halfway round the world, leaving my sister to look after our mum so I try and talk my mum round to do what my sister believes is best most of the time.
@pribud I do find gardening therapeutic particularly when doing aggressive pruning like yesterday :) however I have a very large garden so it can become a bit of a chore as there is so much that needs doing all the time.
