@2020pinktogo So sorry to hear about your dear grandma. My sympathy goes to you and your mother. These occasions are difficult at the best of times, and can bring out the worst in some people. Prayers and hugs to you and the wider family as you deal with the traumas ahead. :heartbreak::cry:
@lpeltenburg TOM will soon pass and you will be back to normal.
@danelutza19 I love the idea of gifting yourself and releasing the family from the dilemma of what to get you as a gift. I think I will try that in future, especially as food treats are off the menu these days.
@GrandmaJackie Enjoy your family time. I will also be seeing my daughter and grandsons.

I had a lovely, relaxed Saturday, and ended it dancing through the Eurovision Grand Final on the TV, from Kiev in Ukraine, getting in the rest of my steps for the day. Today the warm sunny weather has returned. The rain yesterday was barely enough to wet the surface of the garden beds, so the nightly watering ritual will continue.

 Have a blessed Sunday!
:sunglasses: I know I will!!! :sunglasses:

    Good morning flowers!!!

@2020pinktogo my condolences for the passing of your grandmother. Like Terri said, these times can bring out the worst in people. I hope that you can get everything done without too much interference. You always have us to lean on and speak your mind.

@TerriRichardson112 you brought back some nice memories from when I was still living in Europe :) we used to love watching the Eurovision, it was such a big deal. Glad to hear you enjoyed yourself yesterday and had some relaxing times!

Yesterday was good, actually delicious... maybe too delicious. My husband went shopping and came home with steaks, burgers and ribs. Then, he proceeded to fire up the grill and cook for us. It was delicious and I almost fit everything nicely in my calories. Ended up with a smaller deficit but giving the fact that I had a great week things balanced out nicely. Took a walk later in the day and hit that step count.

Today's goals are to plan my meals better since we still have some grilling left to do :) I'm going to have some less calorie dense sides and make things work. Also I'm going to keep going with the chin-ups, steps, water and good sleep is a must for next week's energy. On a side note, it's a beautiful day so I would love to do something fun and active.

Since today is the actual Mothers Day, I wish us all a fabulous Sunday!!!!

@2020pinktogo, my condolences to you and your family for your loss. It's always hard to be left behind, but I'm glad your grandmother isn't suffering anymore. As others have said, unfortunately, this sort of situation can bring out the worst in people. I hope you guys get through it with a minimum of drama.

@mari_moulin, I always find it interesting the dates that North America do things the same as Europe and the dates where we change it up. Like the time changes in the fall and spring. Seriously, could we not all agree on a weekend instead of having them two weeks apart and confusing everyone who has to communicate across time zones? /rant. Glad that you were able to get a lot done at the house even if you couldn't make it to the gym. Sounds like you were very productive!

@danelutza19, I hope that the meal planning goes great. Sounds like you guys have some good food to make tasty meals.

Happy Mothers' Day to all Moms and mothering sorts out there! I got my mom a donation this year to help moms with cancer. She doesn't really need more stuff, but this way I could commemorate the day and sort of pay it forward to more Moms.

My Doctor Who panel yesterday was totally awesome! It was so neat to be able to see the three of them live and watch them play off one another and deal with the sometimes silly questions that the audience asked. They were hilarious and generally graceful and a little bit silly, and it was a really great experience. I'm so glad I went! Next year, I want to do the full ComicCon and cosplay as someone, though I'm not sure who yet....
