Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes?
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day?
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank?

On Friday, the real Friday, May 12, not 13, I took a trip to a rural central IL town and gave flowers to my 86 year old mom. The image for today reminds me of when I was in first grade and we gave flowers that we had grown from seeds to our moms. I will always remember how excited I was to carefully carry home a little clay pot of geraniums to give to my mom. She acted as if she was receiving a gift of golden jewelry.
Happy Mother's Day...tomorrow, to all of the UAC team Moms!

Yesterday was a pass day I got up to exercise was about to start when I got the text my parents were running to the hospital. So I jumped in the shower switched from a dress to slacks and as it was my late start day ran to the hospital too. My parents & uncle were very happy to see me. Then I ran to work. As I had given them a heads up just in case I got delayed it was donut day :/ I really don't like them. Steve picked them up and made sure he got me a plain choc glazed fry cake. As he got it just for me and his wife just passed I ate it. But I then couldn't eat my lunch. So I was running on no nutrients and crashing and burning by 5. I put on my sneakers to exercise at lunchtime but couldn't get out of the chair. Our tech guy goes Sue you look like you need a nap not a few laps on the treadmill just sit.

Today I already have laundry over. Then I have to grocery shop for mom and myself. Stop at my daughter's to pick up her mother's day gift for my mom. Drop everything off at my parents then see if grandma is still with us and go to the hospital.

@pribud and @phoebelayla congratulations on your weight loss
@2020pinktogo sounds like your life is crazy busy at the moment, you're doing so well keeping up with this challenge at the same time. Make sure you don't burn yourself out, you need to make sure you get enough rest.
@Dosse1320 sorry to hear you're not feeling well, hope you get better soon

Went out for a run first thing but was only a couple of minutes in when it started to rain, I kept going for another minute or so by which point it was raining quite hard so I turned round and went home :/ all was not lost though as I used it as a thorough warm up and did my strength/cardio circuit. Also got about 1.5 hours gardening done this afternoon.
Tracking and calories were both good.

So funny on the day mix-up. You got me for a minute.

@2020pinktogo it sounds like you are holding a lot together during a stressful time for your family. Please take a moment for yourself and breathe. The whole donut situation and then the later hunger is tough. Maybe you should tell everyone there that you are working on eating healthily and not to bring you treats. Or, maybe you already did and they don't quite get it. Anyway, hang in there girl!

Missed a week of log-in and workouts, but for a pretty good reason: last week Saturday, our daughter Mayra was born. Now back in action, so 3x yes for me today!

Exercised?: Yes. Walked 5km in 88 minutes (hills - Enjoyed long talk with teenage daughter. Happy to slow down to walk and chat.).
    Calories?: Yes.
    Tracked?: Yes.

My daughter wanted to know about why CICO both works and does not work. Therefore a long discussion about metabolism, exercise, insulin, glucagon, glycogen, keytone bodies, snacking, intermittent fasting, macros, diabetes, hypoglycemia, etc...

My daughter came to the conclusion that her (overweight) health sciences teacher is teaching and following the syllabus, not the results of non-industry funded research published in the last 10 years and maybe the syllabus needs to change.

My homework from the discussion is to document all the sources I pulled my information from to assist her. (This may take a while).

    Results today

    calories yes under
    tracking yes

Bud & I are going away this week, 4 days in Lynden Washington(me relaxing, reading and hopefully working out in pool and continuing with my exercise bike). Bud will be golfing in the mornings so I am hoping to get in my exercise. Calorie tracking may be difficult but I will do the best I can. After Lynden we are going to Vancouver for the weekend to visit family.

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? YES -- some "strength" training. Used "elbow grease" to clean my dad's kitchen walls and porch. He had an issue with box elder or ladybugs, and I had to clean up the poop on the window sills, I know TMI and gross, but I got er done. My shoulder blades and arm got a pretty good workout. Was there about 3 hours.

Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? YES

Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? YES
