Hi there, folks. It's hard to believe we have reached our 3rd Milestone already.

@Kenda2427 I agree with the others. A spell on maintenance would keep you on track but less stressed.
@danelutza19 Setting clear goals is a good start to the day. Remember to make them achievable. You get an extra big boost when you surpass your goal.
@fitphoenix It's a good feeling when you can motivate people like that. And you have the added bonus of being stretched yourself! It's a win/win situation. Good luck on the challenge.

Overall, I am satisfied with how I did on goals. Apart from a minor blip on strength/flex minutes, I had a problem with my knee on one day, which meant that I didn't manage my steps goal, but my average for the ten days was well above my daily goal.

Weight has been up and down since last Milestone, but it's moving in the right direction.

 Have a great day!
:sunglasses: I know I will!!! :sunglasses:

Milestone 3: 7-16 May :sunglasses: Spring refocus on goals :sunglasses:

 Starting Weight on 17/4/2017: 167 lbs
3nd Milestone: Weight on 16 May 2017: 164.9 lbs  :sunglasses:
Goal weight: 157 lbs

    Day 30 -

Good Morning Friends! Here with an update as its been a couple of days. Still trying to find the time to finish up my cleaning in the garage. Been really busy keeping up with other chores that by the time I have a minute to sort some stuff out in there I am just too dang tired to even face it. But slowly its getting done. The main stuff is finished. The baby is doing much better now and he is back in daycare since yesterday which means I was back at the gym and I KILLED it. So proud when I have those super woman days. So many calories died. This morning I am trying to get the baby to the hair dresser as his locks are bothering him too much. Makes me sad to take away his curlies but bless him he is just not happy with all that hair in his face and its having to be constantly tied back. This afternoon is back to the gym. ALso doing laundry today (this is never ending) and cleaning up my bathroom.

TerriRichardson112 - Well done with your goals! I don't think we seek perfection but progress and that's what you are achieving. Well done despite the blip.

2020pinktogo - I send you my most heartfelt condolences. Sending you and your family prayers and positive energy. I am sorry you are having to deal with difficult relatives. Same thing happened to me when my mom passed. Don't worry about them and just do what you need to do for you and your mom. hugs. x

@mari_moulin glad you got to the gym I am hoping by the end of this week to be back on track again.
Terri when I saw your post that we were at a milestone I was like OMG where did the time go.

It was weird at the wake last night. My cousin who must think she looks wonderful informed me I looked old and actually was old. I kept my mouth shut all I kept thinking was this may be the last time I see these people. There was no regrets time moves on.

I will go weigh myself in a few minutes I do not expect to see a change this week.

@2020pinktogo, good job not descending to pettiness. People who make comments like that are usually insecure and can't figure out how to bring themselves up without pulling other people down, which is just sad, really. I hope things smooth out and settle as time passes.

@mari_moulin, glad the baby is feeling better and you were able to get to the gym and have such an awesome workout! The garage will come!

@TerriRichardson112, glad you were able to meet your goals! I think the average for the week totally counts, and listening to your body when it's sore is totally sensible!

Happy milestone day! It really is hard to believe that we've reached another one already. Time is flying by! I've got about three hours of meetings today, but I'm going to be doing my best to walk on all my breaks/lunch and just stay as very active as I can! I'll definitely be pushing to keep my step number high!

@TerriRichardson112 Great job keeping up with your goals. More than not is awesome. I had to take a day off for me knee as well.

@mari_moulin Glad baby is feeling better. I cried when I had to cut my sons curls. They never grew back. But, I understand. Can't have them going nuts just to be cute.

@2020pinktogo Some people are amazing! I am sorry for your loss and glad you were able to bite your tongue. Hang in there.

@fitphoenix I wish I could get the people at my work to do fun things like that. I did manage to get one of the girls to join MFP and she has walked with me twice, but I would love to have a steps contest with them. I do one on Fitbit, not quite the same though. I don't know any of them.

Well this weekend I was bad, I didn't do anything resembling healthy. My weight shows it. I am up 3 pounds. Eek! I hope it is water weight, but I don't think so. Blah, back on track.
I finished the gym competition yesterday and had final weigh in. Overall I did pretty darn snazzy. I lost 9 pounds, 3.1% of my body fat and gained a half pound of muscle. I am impressed with myself. They won't announce the winner until Wednesday night at closing ceremonies. It is kind of cracking me up, there are a few people complaining that they can't make it to the closing ceremonies. (You have to be present to win.) It was clearly announced at the opening ceremonies, all over the rules, and you had to sign a paper saying that you had to be at closing ceremonies to win. Silly people, how did you miss this.

I gave myself the weekend to be crappy, today I am back on the wagon. I lowered my weight loss from 1.5 pounds back to 1 pound a week. I think this will relieve some of the fatigue. I did manage to stick with my squat challenge every day though. (this is my unbreakable goal for the Hogwarts challenge.)

I have a busy day today, good luck flowers!

    Today's goals:
    Under Calories
    15000 Steps
    80 ounces of water
    No extra sugar
    Bank
    pay bills
    pantry
    Quidditch challenge
    Lawn
    Laundry folded
    *gym*

@jdelaroy I totally get the weekend gain, I am up twice that. But recognizing it and jumping back on track will correct it. Looks like a busy day for you, but you can do it.

So happy milestone day everyone, I am afraid I am going to bring the group average down this time around. Things are supposed to get on track this weekend but another 3 hr torrential downpour has likely delayed us yet again. I literally ate myself sick yesterday. Time to smarten the heck up, enough is enough.

    So today goals:
    stop mindless eating
eat what I brought to work
grab a salad on way home from work
go to my first Running Plus class (that oughta kill me lol)
try and get some decent rest
    fluids
    15,000 steps

Have a great day everyone, kill those goals!

    Good morning flowers!!!

@Kenda2427 good for you on having great plans moving forward! Based on the upbeat tone of your post, I gather you're in good place right now and ready to kick some b**!

@jdelaroy best of luck at winning the competition!!! That loss is outstanding!

@fitphoenix how cool that you are motivating others to be more active! Having a community that supports and encourages physical effort is a great tool in a successful arsenal!

Awww yesterday. What a funny mix of emotions life is. I wasn't feeling great and yet I hit a personal record by doing 7 chin-ups in a set. To say I'm happy about it is an understatement :) On the other hand, the kettlebell who's arrival made me so happy has disappointed me dearly. I couldn't wait to try using it for my Turkish get-ups but the handle on this thing is so thick that it's impossible to even hold it in position :( not sure if I'm going to keep trying or just exchange it. All other goals accomplished including the swim.

Today I'm planning on a mellow day with the same goals: eat within calories/macros, train, do chin-ups, 10,000 steps, water and good sleep.

    Let's have a fabulous Tuesday!!!

    Morning,

Sorry, it's been a few days since I've posted. This past weekend, I had a blast with my grandkids and daughter. This my workouts didn't go as plan since the weather wasn't as nice as expected. On the bright side, I was able to make smart and healthy food choices. So I didn't undo my hard work form last week.

That being said, since the last weigh in I haven't loss any, :(. So this LAST 7 pounds, is still around, sad to say. At least my weight isn't up like it was at the beginning of the challenge. Today, my goals are meeting my workout and nutrition goals.

By the END of next week, I WANT to be at 3 pounds lighter!!!!

This group is soooo motivating. Even when we have bad days we bounce back to refocus. Our journey is NOT easy but WE CAN do this!
