Hi Everyone,
I've being doing MFP for 2 weeks and have just found this group.
I'm just getting back into fitness and dieting after a horrible 2013 where i lost the plot a little and gained some weight from not really caring about what i was doing.
I had a back injury from running which really depressed me as i'd just got up to running 10k and enjoyed it and had a great sense of achievement and then by March i was dealing with a very ill parent and their subsequent death, relief and grief are a confusing combination, my head really wasn't in a good place to think about what i was doing to myself by eating rubbish and wallowing in laziness and sadness.
So 2014 is here and i am being positive, looking for any tips and motivation as I have a 60lbs plus target to shift (21lbs of which I gained last year).
So far, i've lost 4lbs in 2 weeks and i'm building my fitness and stamina levels back up (4 spin classes booked this week), i just need to get that endorphin addiction going again
My food diary is stopping me from unconscious eating, sometimes i don't even realise what i've eaten so i am finding this a really good discipline at the moment.
If anyone wants to add me so we can motivate each other please do.
Karen
