    Good Morning BBB.
Dogs were a big hit at the conference yesterday and we got a lot accomplished. More of same today.
Big thunderstorm last night and more rain each day this week. Florida needs rain and I have a GoreTex coat so bring it on. Temps are in high 80s so we traded up from 45 at home when we left.
Praying for the victims of the suicide/attack in England.
Steve - prayers continue for you mom
Sam - you and DW have amazing patience.
Kelly - I hope you slept well in your own bed last night. How is the knee?
Lee - at least the girls had fun and that is the bottom line. Bring on the next hunt test!
Mary - I never understand why people paint what should be stained. I bet your home looks beautiful.
Dennis - I bet you r yard looks good too. I need to get some annuals planted in for color at our house.
Bill - I hope you get out on the Jeep before classes start up again.
Lisa - what are your Memorial Day plans?
    Do good out there everyone.

    Good morning
Prayers for the victims of another senseless attack. Still praying for steves mom too
Sam, not sure if you read my post from last night, but does that came damage your floors and or trim?
Knee is better, much better. I go to Indy today with my MRI in hand and we will see how it goes.
VERY PROUD of DS1. He joined weight watchers with me last night.
Have fun in Florida Raine. I did see all the rain in the forecast for the week. Hopefully, the rain will catch all the wildfires.
    Have a great day.

    Good Morning,
Very wet day in Georgia, expecting between 3 & 5 inches of rain today.
    Steve, praying for mom.
Cannot understand why someone wants to kill themselves and others, where has the value for life gone? I reckon with the love of God.
We all get excited at times where it's hard to control and hold back, bet if she got to hunt enough some of the excitement would wear off.
I had been bragging to DMIL about her walking around the block, she told us she was doing it daily. I was out trimming shrubs and DW was helping get up clippings when DMIL took off for her walk. She was out of site and DW happen to look up and saw DMIL cutting across common area about half way up block. Busted, she was only doing half what she was telling us. She told me she walked over to where they were building new houses, funny is she did not know the number of houses being built. There are only 3 under construction.
Bill, if you have to be in CO in June; are you going to be able to continue teaching this summer?
Dennis, hope you are working from home today; not a fun drive.
Mary, lots of time solid pigmented stain will work over paint; I know Sherwin Williams has some products that will.
    Kelly, how is knee?
Bob, praying DD is continuing to improve.
Gotta go deal with computer issues.
    Enjoy the Day,
    Sam I am

    Morning Gang~

Late start (putting out online fires since 6a).....

Prayers for the Manchester victims.... Senseless. Utterly senseless!

Lee - sorry the gals were not 100%.... Me thinks, next round will be stellar!

Sam - the house I'm building won't be ready until Oct 5th. In the meantime - I'm splitting a few days each month trekking to / fro.... 4 of the 5 Colleges/Universities I teach are online - so that is easy. The summer session here in my backyard ends by mid -August so that too will be quite manageable.

DS1 at WW? Good for him....Any news from LE agencies? How was sunny FLA?

Big present arrived in the mail yesterday....got it authenticated - so I can breathe easier now! Phhhhhwwwww.... Retirement party in two weeks...

Raine - keep them all straight down there! Have fun! ~Skipper

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Sorry you have to slosh through the wet weather in Orlando Raine but as you said, they need it. They've had lots of fires due to drought.
    • Sam, I am headed to Conyers today which is the easy half trek.
    • DW and I are going to see Airmen of Note at the Athens Classic Center tommorrow night. Looking forward to it.
    • How's working from home going Steph?
    • Good luck at the Dr. with the knee Kelly.
    • Have a great day everyone.

Prayers for Manchester and all of us in this world.

Down poured again early evening enough SO couldn't get his seed dug in. I stopped and purchased some annuals for my porch planters. I can plant pots, etc. in the garage if its rainy after work again.

Glad your knee feels better Kelly, keep us posted. Yay for you and DS1 ! I can't seem to commit.

Tell us more of this big present, Skip.

Did you hear about the IL lady that purchased the moon dust from the gov for $1k, sent to to them to be authenticated, and they now confiscated it? Judge ordered that it be auctioned, she's about to be one rich lady. Weird story.

    Good Morning!

Flying fast, so short post. Make it slow down! Lisa, your kind advice from last week helps. Thank you, again!

Thank you all, for the kind words and prayers for my mom. She is just in a holding pattern now, trying to get some strength back. She will meet with her cardiologist on Friday, and hopefully make the final decision on either the TAVR, or Open Heart. She won't be doing either, until she gets her strength back. She is still doing dialysis, which also will help her get back some strength.

Take care, and have a great day!

Thanks for the good thoughts all. Been outta town in Seattle with son and DDIL. Got to do a 30 mile bike ride along Lake Washington and around Mercer Island with DS, DDIL. OK DW did a shorter 10 mile loop and had a great spot in the shade while we did the Mercer Island part.

•Crazy spring and was 92-93°F at home in Portland OR area for one day and will be 60s tomorrow.
•Princess and the Pea?? fuggetabout it Sir Prince Pea here is celebrating tonight with the first snap peas from the backyard tonight. Our short Sugar Sprint peas should be about big enough for first treat and the tall (now 7 feet) pole snap peas are coming on strong too. Who knew??
    Will get caught up soon.

Floors are ash with baked finish, very hard, have not seen any dents; not that she has not tried.
DMIL and DW were not speaking when I got home last night, very peaceful. DMIL invited herself to go along with DW to doctor this morning. DW was not to happy when I spoke to her earlier. Seems DMIL who does not like to drive has made plans to go around visiting while DW is at doctor. Doctor's office is near where we use to live and only about 10 miles from where DMIL was living. Hope DMIL keeps mouth shut when it came to driving in rain this morning or it may be best if I find something else to do before going home.
Real is going to be tonight, because DMIL is very nosey; but I'll tell that tomorrow.

It is terrifying and heartbreaking, Lee. Prayers for the world! We are a messed up lot.
Raine, I'm picturing you as a superhero with a forcefield around you that the rain can't penetrate. And a cape, naturally. Jack has a cape, too! (Did I ever tell you about the cape I made for the tech at the tv studio I used to be on?)
Kelly, that's SO COOL about DS1! YAY! And he's got the best supporter in you, I know!
I wish you the best with all the computer and DMIL issues, Sam!
Skip, the "summer session in your backyard"? um, what exactly are you teaching in this session???
Dennis, I have no idea what "Airmen of Note" means, but I hope it's all you are hoping for!
I hope you're able to rest up at work today, Mary. ;)
I'm glad it helped, Steve! You matter! Take care of you.
Bob, I forgot where you were until I read your post. Our houseguest (who is sitting next to me right now) lives in Salem.

It's a quiet morning here. I had a short chat shift, and I'm leaving soon to meet up with some friends before my WW meeting tonight.

When I was in the USAF Honor Guard, we used to travel a lot with the Airman of Note, Dennis.... Quite a talented group!
