Good morning, m'dears.
I have had a few RL deadlines to deal with over the last few days, so time has been limited. Plugging away at the goals, but have had to ease off on the Butt Challenge as the exercises flared up my knee again. I will have to try and be less Gung-Ho about these things in future. Still doing leg exercises, but not as intense.
@Kenda I've often thought of doing Reiki, but have not had the time. Commiserations on the dread scale. Sometimes we need that jolt to get our motivation going again. The meal prep is a good idea. I pre-log my day's food so that I can keep an eye on my macros. I had the same problem with an Easter gain. Still working on it.
@jdelaroy Relationships can be difficult at times. Well done on avoiding emotional eating. And showing restraint with the pizza. And congrats on the SV. That goal weight is so close. Keep strong, girl you can do this.
@danelutza19 I find that staying home can be more tiring than going out, but you hit your goals, so no worries. Getting outminto the fresh air is invigorating, so well done.
@GrandmaJackie The wee ones keep us young. But they don't half take it out of you, Jackie. Mine are all grown up now so not so exhausting to be with. Hope, you have your car sorted by now. Are you still on the NLNS challenge?
@2020pinktogo Sometimes getting out for a few hours is the only thing to do lol! And walking is good for the soul. And I can understand just getting on with things when others are slow to help. It makes for a less stressful life.
I have a full day today, Craft at 10.30am, Art history at 2.30pm (the PP was one of the deadlines, lol!), and then we are off to the Theatre in Belfast tonight. As Jackie says:
Let's make this happen!
Every accomplishment starts ...
... ... with the decision to try!!!

Taking mom out shopping today. Goal today is to REALLY think before buying no impulse buying. It's going to be a rough day. I either eat or shop and as I have the eating on lock down taking mom out shopping is not what I would do right now when I am still stressed. I will probably do the think twice ask the girl to hold it for an hour or 2 to make sure it's not an impulse buy. My mom hates when I do this but it's either that or get rid of something for everything that comes in and right now I love all my clothes so that would be almost impossible. Though I have decided the blouse I loaned my mom for the funeral I can't put back on so that may go. I will let you know how it goes. Till later. Sue0

@2020pinktogo Hang in there. I love retail therapy shopping. However, I usually don't have the money so no shopping for me. Maybe just try taking what you will need and a tiny bit extra. Then you can't buy it because you won't have the money.
@TerriRichardson112 Sounds like you have a wonderful day planned. I am glad you are going to ease off on your challenges. Good job listening to your body.
Yesterday was a decent day. Although it was really weird, I went to the gym in the morning, and just had a hard time while I was there. I just felt like I was struggling the whole time. I had to fight to do 45 minutes on the treadmill at a slow pace. When I looked at Fitbit though, it showed my heart rate was in Peak almost 80% of the work out. BF said it was probably my body needing to rest, so I took it easy the rest of the day. Today did the treadmill again, it flew by, was easy and I was at my faster pace. Fitbit showed my heart rate was in cardio the whole time. I think food was fairly close to being green. Might have gone a smidge in the red without exercise calories. So not worrying about it.
Goals Yesterday:
Stay focused at work
Stay GreenClose enough
Gym Time
Lunch run/walkNope decided I needed to take it easy.
17000 steps
Pick up meds
DinnerMy daughter ended up making most of it. I mostly supervised.
100 squats I think I did 80 Not bad
Today's Goals:
Stay Focused at Work
Gym Time
Stay green No exercise calories today. (no Cake)
Lunch run/walk
17000 Steps
Dinner
100 Squats
10 wall push ups
Have a wonderful Taco Tuesday.

@jdelaroy We all have those days that work outs are just a struggle from start to finish. Just do the best you can, and listen to your body. We are not very good at that but it will tell us what it needs if we listen closely and tune in.
Good morning flowers. Woke to the pouring rain yet again, it is getting beyond tiresome. The guys were planning to finish their other project yesterday and then start back at our place today. And then it rains again, so most likely yet another delay.
But on the upside yesterday turned beautiful in the afternoon. I was able to get out and work with one of my horses for a little while, then went for a 5k trail walk/run. The mosquitos were absolutely vicious, rather ruined what is normally a beautiful route.
I ate to plan and had perfectly balanced macros! Under calories considerably which I need to get me refocused. Very pleased with yesterday success.
Today goals:
hopefully as successful as yesterday
eat to plan
strength training - done
Running Plus class (if weather improves)
meal prep for tomorrow
laundry
dr appt - done
Have a Terrific Tuesday!

Good morning flowers!!!
@Kenda2427 nicely done yesterday! Sorry about the mosquitos, I'm dealing with a few bites myself.
@jdelaroy the ups and downs of our powers sure are frustrating but necessary in the long run. Well done!!!
@2020pinktogo have fun shopping and may you exercise your power of "letting go"!!!
Awesome daily plans @TerriRichardson112 . Without a doubt, you have the most envied agenda in the group
Take it easy on the knees, they are precious.
Yesterday was so not like a Monday. I took my daughter to the pool and we played in the scorching sun. When I got home, after eating, I took a nap like a baby. Energy wise, training was horrible, I got it done but it wasn't fun. Calories in the green.
Today, on the other hand feels great, like I'm a different person all together. I decided to do some cardio from now on at least 4,5 days a week for 30 minutes and see how my body responds. My first session was nice, heart rate was exactly where I planned so I'm happy.
For the rest of the day I plan on eating within calories and macros, do my training, chin-ups, steps, water and good sleep.
Let's have a fabulous Tuesday!!!1
