    Mornin' BBB.

Hot and muggy. May need AC soon. Tomato plants LOVE this weather. The Rosa Gosa has never looked better and flowered so well. Peonies are almost done. Rose plants and hydrandra are flowering too.

Had a very productive Father's Day. Actually got to do some big tractor work at my hunt club.

    Thunderstorms predicted all day.

    Monday Morning Blah,
Esp since I was suppose to have the day off. Lots going on in the office so decided since I missed last Friday with my car issues, I'd reschedule today's off day, for this Friday instead.

Car should be ready at end of day, today for pick up.

US Open hype is over, traffic should be back to normal.

Had a nice FD dinner with SO and his two at our place.

Summer calendar is filling fast with all kinds of stuff going on. Hope it slows down some.

I agree Lee, the gardens are doing great this spring!

    Have a great day BBB

    Morning gang

Went for a long bike ride yesterday. Drive past some of the storm damage. Lots still without power.

One stretch has 22 power poles in a row snapped off

Wow, that is some serious wind damage. I guess its cheaper to have telephone poles and replace them instead of bundling the wires and putting under ground.

    Good Morning BBB.
We had a wonderful and relaxing Father's Day. The afternoon included a great car ride - Tom in his 1969 Mark III and me in my 1967 Mini Moke - destination was to a friends house to visit and chill. Just companionship and conversation. Returned home to grill and chill together.
We discovered an oil leak in the Moke - its old and British so what do you expect?
Lee - your garden sounds wonderful.
Steph - damage like that is sad.
Bill and Dennis - you will rock their worlds!
Mary - switching off day is a good thing.
    Do good out there everyone.

    Morning Gang~

Hard wind/rain here in upper VT last night took out the internet. Hmmpppphhhhh! No SBUX and No Internet makes me a cranky boy

Steph - WOWZA! Hope everyone is safe and return to normalcy occurs soon!

Raine - for a minute I was wondering if a Moke was a euphemism for something - LMAO!

I skimmed and didn't see 1967 Mini Moke in the upper line - just the Moke is old and British and leaking. I thought...."poor, Tom!"

    Have a great day!

    Cheers,

    Good Morning!

Had a small fire at work this morning to get things started. I called the fire department. Somebody put a bunch of old rags or clothes down in the storm drain, and then a cigarette or something caught it on fire. No real damage, just an interesting start to the day.

Wild storms this weekend. Mother-in-law lost a big walnut tree uprooted. Took out the neighbor's fence and deck. At one point, both Friday and Saturday nights, KC had 100K plus people without power.

    Have a great week!

Many many still without power 3 days later. The picture I took weren't even the hardest hit locations.

So glad my little neighborhood has buried wires and and is somewhat protected by a little hill.

    Good afternoon BBB Friends.
    • Got up at 6am yesterday and went to bed at 1:30am. 13k+ steps. Successful registration and 1st day.
    • Skip will be happy to know there is a new SBUX down the road from the school. Made my maiden trip.
    • The Moke is new to me too. Cool.
    • Sounds like some nasty stores in the mid-west.
    • Gotta run.
