I am at super high risk for gestational diabetes and wonder if there's any harm in trying to eat as if I already have it. I will ask my dr but I don't see him for another 2 weeks and thought I'd gather thoughts in the meantime. Thanks

There shouldn't be any harm in it. A GD diet should pretty much just be low sugar/carbs, so just make sure you aren't trying to go low fat too, you need to make sure you are getting enough calories to grow the baby. Hopefully you are taking a prenatal too?
