For the record it is good that some of our BBB's are good handymen but for the record I'm a firm believer in wimmin knowing how to do repairs and taking care of things around the house. Especially since women live longer than men they should be able to take care of things, plus wimmin can watch Youtube as good as we can.
Lee, sorry to hear Bob is getting worst.
Me and DW took a trip into the Big City Saturday, did not invite DMIL; she is still trying to figure out where we went and what we did. All we did is go by shoe store and got DW and myself some walking shoes then supper with DD, DSIL and DGS. DMIL does not understand that we want some time away from her.
DW made me some oatmeal cookies for birthday, yesterday DMIL ask when I was going to open them; she had left lid partially off when we was gone Saturday and many were gone.
I have busted her so much for the amount of wine she drinks I reckon she has quit trying to pretend she does not drink so much; where me and DW takes a glass of water with us, she pours a tea glass full of wine to take to bed.

Weekends go way to fast.

Turning in all of my gordmans electronics today. Having a little internal drama that I will leave something on the hard drive that i will want in a month.

Back in the office saddle for me this morning. Blah. I couldn't fall asleep last night, so I got back up out of bed at 10pm and turned tv on, to this show called naked and afraid. Its reality tv, a male and a female are paired up to survive 21 days in some remote jungle, naked, each with only one chosen tool, i.e. a knife, machete, metal pot, or whatever. So... I was then was up too late and couldn't get up & out on time this morning. Now Im stuck here later than I wanted to be today. Oh joy.

Skip, how did you initially injure your back? Or was it a progressive thing and nothing specific?

Rain during night here, but cleared out. Seems our southern IL boarder got hammered and with flooding. Hope all is well in your hood, Raine!?

May check out the MKE Air and Water Show on our Lake Michigan beach this Saturday. The Navy Blue Angels will be here in town a couple days doing their thing, as well. Its a good time.

Sam, I was a single Mom since 2000, and learned to take care a lot of things in my own home myself, I didn't have the money to hire someone. Once I started dating my SO, he always said I was too damn independent and didn't ask him enough for help ( I always told him yeah, that's why you like me lol) . I figured he had his own house repairs, chores etc. to deal with. Now that we own one house together, we share in the joys of homeownership, and I'm better about asking him to take care of certain things, like clean the house gutters, etc. LOL. The week my ex vacated, my kids were amazed I was painting my bedroom, a nice bright lilac color! They asked why I was painting, and why purple? I responded to them with "because I can!"
